Piece Of Junk
I bought the 1992 GS Eclipse in April, by May I had to replace the cluth, and ever since then the Eclipse has been in and out of the auto shop. I had to have a new starter put in, the alternator rebuilt, and am currently having a problem with the Cam Shaft Sensor. It will drive perfectly for a little while, then all of the sudden the engine RPM's will drop down to 0 and the car will die, and not restart. I also have a problem with the syncro's in my 3rd gear. It was fun to drive...really fast, but it is not worth the hassle of the constant promlems.
20 years of fun and reliability
Bought the car brand new in Edmonton, AB back in 1990 with 0Km on the car. The car has just rolled over to 400,000Km (Aprox. 250,000 Miles) The car is still wonderful to drive and the exterior styling is although true to its time. Its still a very nice looking car!

17 years of owning this car
With 17 years of owning this car I have to say it has been fun. A rebuilt trans, a new engine and many other things but I have gone 175,000 miles with it and gone all over the country. many memories and it still looks almost new, which surprises even the dealers.
Great Car
I think its a great car
