Nice but holding our breath
There are so many electronics on this vehicle! The sales team gave us the impression the xmserius radio was on the vehicle but when we got home we realized the only way to play it was through our phone. After a 5 hr drive on the road, the phone shut off from being hot so we had no xm radio until the phone cooled off. We have made repeated calls to NWArkansas MBenz to install the xm on our vehicle, but they will not return our calls. They got their sale and now ignore us. We hope the service department has better customer service. We bought this veh because after much research this was the safest vehicle on the road in our price range. We would have preferred another Denali it has all the bells and whistles and way more room, but the recalls and safety problems since 2020 on any Americans car is horrible. Hope this vehicle takes us through the next 15 like our Denali did. We give it 3 stars because it has less room than we are used to and being a long time subscriber to xm radio it would have been a deal breaker for us to not have it. So we are fighting to get it. Hubs is 6’4” and long trips are not comfortable as he initially thought it would. Hubs constantly complains about a 2023 veh only having AM/FM radio and no long comfortable ride. Who knows, maybe when GMC gets their act together we’ll get another DENALI. We never owned a “Luxury” vehicle before, so this has been a big disappointment.

IMO, the best German SUV
I drove the Audi Q5 & SQ5, and the BMW X3 30i & 40i, but liked the Mercedes GLC best. I did not drive the Porsche Macan as it was out of my budget range. To me, the GLC seems the best compromise of handling, comfort, and quiet. Lots of technology to adjust to, but it's not overwhelming. I think it would be nicer to have more of the simple. if old fashioned, buttons and dials. I don't see the need to have everything controlled by what looks like a large iPad mounted into the dash/console. We have the Pinnacle Pkg which includes the HUD, but the HUD doesn't display posted speed limits as I thought it would. We also have the LED Headlights but they no longer illuminate in the direction the car is turning like our 2017 did. A feature I was very unhappy to lose. We live in a neighborhood with no street lights and that feature was a real safety factor! The ride is improved, it's quieter, and it still has a nice interior, but it could be better.

Amazing SUV
Mine was manufactured 8/23 so I believe I missed all of the issues with it not starting, battery, etc that others have mentioned from the late spring/early summer reviews. This SUV is great on fuel, love the look inside and out, very responsive driving at all speeds. Amazing SUV!

Just bought today
We just bought this suv today and love it so far. There is so much tech in it and I hope that will be reliable. It was $69,000 out the door. That’s more than I wanted to pay, but it seems like it’s worth it. There was no dealer mark up over MSRP, it’s fully loaded.
