Used 1998 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan Consumer Reviews
ONE OF A KIND LUXURY CAR
THE RIDE IS VERY SMOOTH. AN EXCELLENT LUXURY CAR.
The E320
This has been a fantastic car. I'm considering a new E320 or E500, but I can't bring myself to sell this one. It had a few small problems with bulbs blowing out. The local Benz dealership fixed the problem after several visits. Fortunatley, it was covered under warranty. The ride is exceptional as is everything else about the E320. I think I'll stay with the E class because it is easy to get around in the city yet still has a big car feel.

AWESOME - GAS GUZZLER
Awesome handling around the corners; great acceleration; quiet and smooth yet sporty ride; interior well-designed for ease of operation; looks great (sport package); guzzles gas (about 15MPG combined!). Opt for the 320 if MPG is important.
Outstanding Vehicle
29 mpg on recent road trips, brakes are easy to replace and are outstanding, comfort on long trips, good resale, paint job equal to none and if you buy slightly used, one or two years old you don't take a big hit, but that goes for any car. Fast for a V6, great stereo with the Bose upgrade...worth it, smooth transmission and comes pretty well equiped as a base.
Former Lexus owner
Drove an LS 400 for 250,000 enjoyable miles, but wanted something with a little more road character. Throughly enjoying this new experience.
