Used 2002 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C230 Sports Coupe 2dr Hatchback (2.3L 4cyl S/C 6M) Consumer Reviews
Super cool!
I just bought my car last week and it's awesome!! I really like the handling and all the little features and gizmos (I bought the COMAND system). I handles very well. So far the passenger headrest and the pen holder have broken, oh well... I just hope that the long term quality will be good.
Great all-around car
A little jewel with excellent blend of performance, usefulness and comfort. I owned Integra GSR, went to buy a new Acura RSX. But then I tested the C230, found its performance was similar while it was far quieter and more comfortable at high speeds. Aggressive style with Magna red paint catches looks and praise--while the RSX looks ho hum and outdated. M-B has a winner for people who like quality.

A Worthy Successor
I drove a VW Scirocco for 11 years, partly because I could not find a suitable replacement. The Scirocco has been gone for 7 years and I think I've finally found its worthy successor. I wanted a Teutonic vehicle comparable to the Scriocco, plus a bit more: equal utility & performance, less interior cabin noise (NVH), slightly more back seat head & leg room. Plus good vehicle safety systems (head/side airbags, ABS, etc). The other cars on my short list were the Audi A4 Avant, BMW 325i Wagon, and the VW GTI. Each had their pros/cons. But I found that the C230 was "rightsized" for me - not too big, not too small, and because I skipped buying all but two options, a good value.
"Baby Benz"
The "Baby Benz" is a fun car to drive. It hugs the road while giving a sensation of floating over the surface. It is made for high speed driving. Although I wish the hatchback/rear-end design could be modified, I find the car is a very practical yet sporty vehicle. I love my b-benz. For the money it's a exceptional vaulue. It is a Benz!
Nice
