Problems and problems

Got this car and was really happy at first. During the winter the wiper motor broke. Replaced at 1700$. 6 months go by, the motor breaks again. Dealer says the motor broke because the mechanism broke first, No warranty. 1700$ again. Sent letters to the dealer and straight to MB Canada. Big step from them if they even acknowledged my request of refund. MB should really do something about their customer service. They might be selling cars, but they sure don't keep their customers.

2 door Fun to 4 door Enjoyment

I was a very happy owner of the MB SLK- 230. My daughter returned home, and it just wasn't practical, so I resigned myself to the 4-door C class. Much to my pleasant surprise, not only was the SLK engine still maintaining the driving fun, but I actually don't feel the "loss" of the funness going into what I thought was going to be my grandmother's stuffy sedan feel. I like being wrong sometimes ;-)

Bought 1999 C230 Kompressor 3 weeks ago. It is in excellent condition inside and out, one owner, 74,000 miles, well cared for with a ride that is extremely smooth, quiet and comfortable. My 1st Mercedes. I am very pleased with it and enjoy hearing comments about how clean, sharp and classy it is. It is fun to drive and, so far, while still early, it is a great buy.

I just bought my 99' C230 Kompressor Sport, black on black. I have a 120 mile round trip commute that I make a couple times a week. I am tired of cars falling apart with routine maintenance and not having any resale value at all. My last three American cars resale value has been abysmal. What a joy it is to drive again. I haven't had this much fun since my 1997 Maxima SE, just now I'm in a much more solid car. Five years old and still turns heads. None of the Mercedes maintenance horrors others predicted. Research the models on edmunds, consumer reports, etc. and you'll see the 99 C Class scores above average in most categories. I'm hooked now!

More than a year ago I was faced with the need to find a replacement car. I chose the Mercedes for its combination of style, comfort, value, and of course prestige. I have never been dissapointed with my decision to purchase this vehicle instead of a new Honda Accord. I now understand why those who buy one Mercedes can't help but keep buying them!!
