2024 McLaren 750S Spider Convertible Trims Comparison
Trim level differences
The McLaren 750S is a two-door supercar available as a coupe and a folding-hardtop convertible, the latter of which McLaren calls a Spider. Both body styles use the same twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8, which generates 740 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. There are no trim levels on the 750S, per se, but an extensive options list with numerous five-figure selections means a buyer wouldn't have to try too hard to loft the sticker price above $400,000.
Which 750S Spider trim does Edmunds recommend?
With minimal weight gain and a negligible loss in structural rigidity compared to the coupe, the 750S Spider would be our choice. The power top stows at the push of a button, raising or lowering in 11 seconds at speeds up to 31 mph. With it stowed, occupants can better appreciate the 8,500-rpm aria of what is likely one of the last V8 supercars.
