Really Vet This Vehicle!!
I sold my 2016 MKC and now have a Corsair Reserve I, 2.0 AWD with only the elements package (47,620 sticker price) and I am so disappointed in this vehicle (I want my MKC back!). After two months I feel the overall quality is cheap compared to my MKC. It has so many annoyances I'm ready to get rid of it. I should have test driven it longer as I find the suspension to be absolutely terrible. You really feel the road in this vehicle and it's miserable on a bumpy road (my MKC was so smooth). Also, it had a loud dash rattle (drove me crazy) that only occurred when the weather was somewhat warm (for winter). I couldn't take it to the dealer because it was hit-or-miss depending on the temperatures throughout the day, so I thought I'd just put up with it until spring and then take it in. After many frustrating attempts to find the rattle, on my own, I finally did. It was a loose panel under the steering column, so I made a wedge with folded newspaper to tighten it. I'll know for sure when the weather stays warm, if I stopped the rattle or not. A huge annoyance is the tailgate on this vehicle. It sounds very cheap when it pops open (there's a lot of hollow space and plastic panel on it). This is hard to believe, but when it's raining or just wet from a car wash and you have to pop the tailgate, water gets in the back and things get wet-the harder it's raining the worse it is. I have to keep paper towels handy to wipe up! I'm going to talk to the dealer about why this is! Also, in the center glovebox there's an annoying non removable tray that makes it hard to reach down in for things-very poor design. There's a button for the radio right on the steering wheel and I can't tell you how many times I've messed up the radio station when turning. I have to change the way I hold the steering wheel to make turns now. The windshield wipers are noisy. I'm hoping they just aren't broken in yet and that will get better. I also want to comment on the seat- the standard seat that comes with the Reserve I. The seat you actually sit on (not the backrest) barely tilts up or down in the front, or up and down in the back (forward and backward is fine). It's one of those things I never tried when I test drove it. The seat seemed fine at the time, but now that I've been in it two months I really want that simple adjustment that I'm used to (to raise the back of the seat, or lower the front) and I can't do it-hard to believe in a Lincoln. Big negative! Compared to all the vehicles I've had in my 68 years this vehicle might look nice, but to me it's cheap and I'm very disappointed and unhappy with it. The Lincoln quality I had in my MKC is not in this vehicle-not even close. Really take your time and vet this vehicle thoroughly. Update: I've had this vehicle ten months now and I CANNOT WAIT TO GET RID OF IT. I leased this time so I have to wait. Also, Sirius Radio trial ended and I realized there is NO CD player!! Shame on Lincoln! Something I never thought to look for. Dash still rattles. Cheap, cheap, cheap! Not worth the money.
2020 CORSAIR
I've had my Standard 2.0 Corsair for a month now and absolutely love it! Excellent value and excellent ride. Tons of safety features standard which actually had my insurance lower from my 2016 Audi A3 Cabrolet...This Corsair is the lowest priced vehicle I could find on the lot and that's fine with me. It has all I need. I Have the Pristine White exterior and the sandstone interior and OMG I love it! Just what I wanted in a small SUV. My 1st Lincoln and its perfect!

Very Diappointed
I traded in my Lincoln MKC last February for the2020 Cosair and I have to say the worst decision I have ever made when getting a Lincoln. It is very sluggish to drive, noisy and not smooth to drive. When I first got the car and it rained the car mats were soaked because the factory forgot to seal the window properly and because it took awhile to be fixed the carpets were musty therefore the carpets had to be replaced. The car has had 2 recalls which I found out about on the internet first not from the dealership. Now I am getting a notice everyday from my Lincoln app that the car has gone into a deep sleep to conserve the battery which means when I go to the car to open the door I have to use my keys because the keyless entry does not work. This is my 4th Lincoln and sadly it will be my last. When I got the car the salesman who I have always dealt with was no more interested in leasing me this vehicle then the man in the moon that should have been a sign to go else where. I would not recommend this vehicle not for the price that I paid. Extremely disappointed
