The new Corsair is a crossover rather than an SUV. It rides like a well mannered sedan, seats 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children comfortably, but could handle 5 adults for a shorter ride as well. While the Corsair isn't a car for driving enthusiasts, it is fantastic for those of us who like a smooth, quiet ride with plenty of features once the Reserve level is in play. The interior is nice and leather rich, and affords an extreme quiet in which to indulge the top of the line Revel sound system, one of the best in the automotive world. Although it comes in a 2.0 and 2.3 engine, the former is really sufficient. Having driven both (I own the former and always get the latter for a loaner when my car is being serviced) the difference is noticable, yet subtle, and I find the 2.0, especially in "Excite" mode quite sufficient. UPDATE: After 3 years driving my Corsair I find I still enjoy its nimble handling and quiet comfort.

Comfortable front seats, handles well. But, If you live in an area that gets a large amount of snow get the all wheel drive. 3" of snow slight incline and you are in trouble. Even with the proper mode selection.

Got the Reserve 2.0 AWD with most of the goodies. Ingot metallic silver and black leather interior. This SUV makes heads turn. Might not have the reputation of a Benz or BMW , but it’s definitely a sharper looking vehicle with a great comfortable Lincoln ride. It does more than just compete with this class— in a lot of ways it surpasses the competition. Highly recommend.
