Telluride can't tow

I hate the car The dealership lied about the availability of a trailer hitch and even though I paid for the towing package the wiring harness is still an additional installation and cost. If and when you can get one.

Telluride complaints

I drove a Honda Pilot for 8 years. Wanted a newer and sleek body style, so I bought a Telluride. Sadly, I didn't drive it on a freeway or keep overnight for some extra time in the vehicle. It has a bumpy ride and lots of road noise. The seat belt strap is very far back on the car door and extremely hard to reach. I can't just reach and grab it, without turning my entire body to grab it. Then when seatbelt is on, it rubs my neck. I'm 5' 2" and it cant be adjusted better. Only two drink holders in the front. The Pilot has 4. More cubby holders would be better. Love the Captain Chairs in second row and love the lowered area behind the third row seat, for cooler, grocery items to sit & not fall over, etc.

Acceleration and power are lacking.

It’s certainly a nice car, but the power and acceleration are certainly lacking. Also the gas mileage is pretty horrible. I have been averaging 17 in the city and 20 on the highway. My Silverado with the 6.2l engine gets better mileage, which is shocking. All in all, a very nice vehicle, but probably wont be keeping it very long due to the overall power train and mileage performance,

Poor build quality. All the window trim fell off during the 1st year. There were 3 small dabs of glue holding trim on. It took 6 months for the replacement trim to arrive so I drove a less than 1 year old Telluride for 6 months with duct tape holding the trim on. What is the build quality for more substantial components? Glove box came with missing parts. Check engine light repeatedly goes off and dealer blew me off, saying it’s ok to drive across the country with light on and that they couldn’t analyze the error code. After repeated complaints they replaced the gas cap but refused to honor warranty and charged me. Minimal gauges, only warning lights, there is no way to monitor temperatures or pressures which is critical in a vehicle prone to check engine light activation. Multiple recalls. Fuel gauge failed for several days and again dealer couldn’t find anything wrong. 110 volt inverter pretty useless. Infotainment screen and radio controls are bizarre. Tuning knob zooms the screen rather than doing what it is supposed to in most screens. Headlights are aimed strangely and there is a dark spot right in front of vehicle which again dealer said is the way it is supposed to be. All these problems and more with poor dealer support made this vehicle unreliable enough that I traded it in when it had 18000 miles and was less than 2 years old.

SX Prestige most uncomfortable seat ever

I have less than 1,000 miles on my 2024 SX Prestige. I'm considering getting rid of it as the driver seat is like sitting on a 2x4. I have ordered (and returned) several seat cushions on Amazon trying to make it better... but nothing helps. This may be unique to the SX with the ventilated seats as I have a friend with a lower model that doesn't complain. Make certain the seat is comfortable!
