Used 2005 Kia Sorento SUV Consumer Reviews
My new KIA
The new Kia Sorento we got on January 1, 2005 is the best SUV I have driven. We have a Ford Escape as well. The KIA is a better ride and is much better driving.
Kia has it
I started looking at Sorento's to help a female friend that thought she needed help shopping for one. I went to several dealers and looked around. I was impressed by the look, which looks strikingly like a Lexus RX, and by the acceleration. It handles quite well. And has good storage. It starts quickly like it is anxious to get on the road and go. I liked it so much, I bought one! And two friends liked it so much one has bought one, and other is likely going to buy one.

AMADOGON
Bought this 2004 Sorento EX 4WD in 12/2004 with 19 miles on the odometer. Tested vehicle's 4WD performance during the snow blizzard of Jan. 2005 here in Suffolk County (Long Island New York). Did the stop and go run about 15-20 mph on 10 inches snow on the road, went through like a bulldozer, no skidding, zigzagging (SUV equipped with disc brake/abs systems). I am giving a perfect 10 score for this vehicles performance. Also, tested vehicle performance on the highway; handles excellent.
Bulb Replacements
I've had my Sorento for 4 years and I had to replace the low beams, high beams, tail lights, etc, about 2-3 times per light every year. So far this year (this is March), I've replaced the low beams twice in the driver and once on the passenger side. I just replaced the driver side yesterday and the tail light is now out. The battery has been replaced 3 times since I've had it, at 70% of the cost. Does anyone else have these problems? The dealer says there is nothing wrong.
well worth the money
A lot of extras on a highly capable 4x4 for a very good price. A Lexus 330 for at least $10,000 less. And a great warranty.
