I had a mini cooper and was going to buy the countryman (for more space) till I test drove the renegade. It does what I bought it to do! It's fun and I got lots of options added and It was fun finding my little Sasquatch and baby jeep! My sister just got a limited cherokee and she's jealous she didn't get the Sasquatch..just the baby jeep! ha It's compact and rides like a car. Very smooth It doesn't get the gas mileage that my mini got...but I didn't expect it to. I'm not worried about any glitches that might happen....that's what warranties are for. No car is perfect or stays that way, ha But My Renegade is perfect for me!

I chose a 4wd standard, it's a blast to drive. Still trying to figure out Uconnect and all the other cool stuff it came with. I would move the clutch over a couple inches to make driving more comfortable and a more natural sitting position. My shoes have hit together a few times driving which isn't very safe, obviously. I am only 5'2" 130lbs so I also wish the seat would go up a couple inches higher so I can see more of the hood when I'm driving and that the seat wasn't so long. My knees don't quite make it to the end of the seat. It would be ideal to have it a bit shorter. I mean who needs a seat that long? Overall I enjoy my new renegade, but would love it if the seat and clutch had a makeover:-)

This is my second renegade because the first one the tranny died at 160 miles. I gave jeep the benefit of the doubt and I went with a second one and boy I was wrong. The car has been back over 10 times for the transmission acting up . When driving the car at 27-32 mph and on 5th gear the gas pedal is vibrating horribly and the car keeps shifting badly. After taking it to the dealeeship this last time they told me that its the way those cars ride. After test driving a more expensive model from the lot that one was even worse . Worse mistake of my life and I hope ill be able to trade it because I dont know how much longer I can take it .

problems with my new 2015 jeep renegade limited

The ignition system will not release vehicle ignition key. Jeep renegade was bought in Nov. 2015. Between Nov. 2015 and May 2016 removing the ignition key was a slow progression until May 28 2016 the ignition key stayed stuck in the ignition system. Another problem is the acceleration. Once the transmission shifts through all the forward gears and you step on the gas pedal to accelerate the motor will hesitate (choke). I suggest; drive the vehicle and if it hesitate when you accelerate drive the jeep back to the dealership lot. I was informed by Chrysler dealership there is no fix for that problem.

The Jeep Renegade is a Fiat with 4 wheel drive, It handles like a wrangler and I think it can do most things a stock wangler can do in more comfort. The design is sexy and fun. I have had my Renegade for about a month and so far so good. I wish the back seats would fully lay down for better cargo space, existing cargo space is very small and doesn't hold much of anything.
