The Trailhawk trim is the perfect combo of performance and luxury. This seems like the ultimate blend, and I highly recommend.

Overall It’s a great Vehicle, I just purchased it so I can’t give a great in depth review with maintenance and long term Ownership. It’s been good so far, i do 70% City driving and 30% Highway. I live in LA so it’s a comfortable ride over the potholes and random dips. Just got the vehicle because i needed something bigger for my future Baby. So far I have no complaints with the vehicle other than that I do crave more power but it’s more of a personal complaint.

Biggest POS ever made

Where to start, well I guess I will start with the single star. It gets one because when it works its a fun car to drive. HOWEVER, I bought this car to have something safe and reliable to drive my growing family around in. HA! Jokes on me, three transmissions (original, one rebuilt, one new) later, and i am sitting here AGAIN, waiting on a tow truck. I do have the “trail hawk” if that makes a difference, but no transmission should need to be worked on at 500, 5,000, and now again at 29,000 miles. It has left me stranded with my child in the car multiple times. But even more so, that’s not the only times this POS has been in the shop, the fancy battery they rave about, its been replaced twice. The car decided to just stop on the highway because it thought the “hood was ajar”, well i promise you that it was not and one sensor later and I was on my way. However, this “put vehicle in desired gear of park” and “vehicle not in park” and now “Service Trans Press Brake When Stopped Key Off Engine to Engage Park” is not what I expected out of a vehicle that is supposed to be known for reliability and safety. That is all, my tow truck should be here soon.

For me a Jeep over all others.

I researched vehicles for months trying to find a $35,000-$40,000 price range that would satisfy my specific needs. I normally drive pickups but since we only have one vehicle wife said no more pickups. I wasn’t going to drive a Kia or Hyundai or a Toyota Highlander and the Toyota 4 Runner is archaic. So hello Grand Cherokee. Wife approved and I was really impressed. As with Jeep they don’t radically change body style so a 10 yr old Jeep doesn’t look dated.
