Used 2018 Jeep Compass Consumer Reviews

This car is not built for racing. It is built for when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. I have driven it in many snow parks where there are no roads in the summer.

Problem child
I looked this Jeep up on line with a number of sites and found a great number of people that said they burned oil and had a lot of electrical problems. I do not know if any of this was true or false I had to believe at least some of them had to be true and then to find out that the dealers would not correct the problems. I drive a Jeep Wrangler and I have nothing but good things to say about it.

Climate Control goes to LO
Have had my Limited since October, everything is great , but I sort of wish I had the power of my wife's Cherokee, the one annoyance is that every week to week and a half the climate control drops from what it was set at, (74) to LO, I notice because it's chilly when it should be warming up. I have to manually run the temp back up and turn up the blower from 1 again. I keep telling myself I should check the temp when I first start up, but forget after 5-6 days of it working fine. It 'gets me" all the time. LOL

Love this car that I won two.
My wife purchased this car and I drove it around and loved it so much that I bought one. I really do not have much to say except when I bought the cars, I made sure that my wife and I got the six speed transmission. I do not know if this changes anything, The reviews say the 2.4L Tigershark lacks power but I do not feel it when I am driving. If I have to pass, I stomp on the accelerator and plenty of power. I love the ride, I am 6'3" and I feel like I am in a recliner rolling down the road. One area to be aware is MPG, my wife does a lot of in town driving and gets 23MPG. I drive a lot of highway miles and I am a little above 25MPG. I do set the cruise at 80 and the MPG does go down. This my first car with CarPlay and love it. I did not realize how far technology has come until owning this car. I still had the tomtom on the dash and no phone pairing in my old car. I drove the RAV4 and the Honda CR-V and both are good cars they were more expensive and after doing the math over the course of a loan they were both 3000-6000 more than the Compass. I felt for the money the Compass was a better car and after reading reviews the RAV4 etune being terrible and the CRV having oil dilution issues, I felt the Compass was the way to go.

Small Yet Wide SUV
We bought the 2018 Jeep Compass FWD last January, and I say its perfect for us. Love the leg rooms front and rear sits. Technology are awesome especially the CarPlay (thank you whoever invented it) It has a less engine power. But who needs power while you're living in Los Angeles. Over all we love it!!
