Trim level differences
The 2024 Jaguar XF is a midsize luxury sedan available in one trim called the R-Dynamic SE. Within the R-Dynamic SE trim, two powertrains are available. The P250 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (246 horsepower, 269 lb-ft of torque) driving the rear wheels. The P300 is equipped with a more potent version of the same engine (296 hp, 295 lb-ft) and all-wheel drive. An eight-speed automatic transmission backs both engines.
Which XF trim does Edmunds recommend?
The R-Dynamic SE is the only trim offered and both of its optional powertrains come with the same standard features. And though the P250 variant is considerably less powerful, we recommend making your decision based on whether or not you need all-wheel drive, which is standard on the P300.
