Don't buy this car
I bought this car in August of this year. It is beautiful. But, it's been in the shop twice. The car can't hold a charge. The dealership can't figure it out. It's hard to believe that after 3 or 4 days of not being driven the car won't start. Some of the possible causes I've been given from the service people make no sense. If you're looking to buy this car, ask others who have one before moving.
Fun, head-turner, but somewhat costly
I've had my 2011 Jag for 5 years now. The 5.0 V8 is a riot. I've raced it for Track Night in America 7 times and completely beat the snot out of it. I quickly found out that I needed to upgrade the brake pads, rotors and fluid. The stock brakes weren't near enough for racing. However, the motor is plenty! The suspension could be upgraded (pretty hard to find one), but I really enjoy the smooth ride when I'm not racing and it still does well at the track. Mostly, I just use Rock Auto parts for replacing things. Yes, they have Jag parts. I had to take it to the dealer a couple times. Oh boy! That is never fun for my wallet. I have a black XF with 20" black wheels and it gets a lot of "nice car" comments.
