Luxurious yet fussy

About 3 weeks ago, I purchased this vehicle and boy was I proud. I am 25 and driving a Jag. Luckily I also kept my trusty 04 Honda Accord just in case and now I am glad that I did. The Jag started to act funny within 2 weeks of purchase. The light bulbs fried, the transmission makes funny noises if not warmed up (driven for over 30 mins), the steering makes a clanking noise when turning hard. I am honestly becoming quite concerned over this vehicle. But the price for it was great! Worse case scenario, over the life of the vehicle I'll throw in some money to keep it running as long as possible. It is a JAGUAR in the end. Known for their temperamental behaviors.

Style lacking quality

This car has superior style and performance. The flashy style attracts a lot of attention. The service is lacking the same quality the car lacks. They seem to prefer to argue that the car is not defective than to actually take the time to fix it. I drove their X-type loaner as much as I drove my car (not really, but it seems excessive). 12 repairs in 2 years. I traded it with 20K left on the warranty and an air conditioner problem they didn't fix during the first service. Jaguar style with Ford quality and service.

New Jag Impressive

Bought a Jag S 4.2 liter as a company car and it's an impressive ride. Extremely quick and the transmission is seamless. Bought the car for it's great looks, but I'm starting to be more impressed by the quiet performance. My personal car is a Porsche Boxster, so now I have two top flight vehicles, each with their own styles. Don't think the Jag could beat the Porsche, but the Jag is no slouch!

Luxurious Performance

I bought this 3 yr old car with 6K miles on it. The car is one of the most unique and beautiful styles on the road. The handling is very crisp with just a bit of understeer. The acceleration is impressive, and as smooth as silk with the ZF 6-speed automatic. Braking is fine although the pedal is a little soft for my taste. The interior is truly comfortable and stylish. Quality is found inside and out. Mine has the optional navigation system which is simple to use and easy to see from the driver's position. I added the Audio Connectivity Module in 2006 which is backwards compatable for my model for $400 installed. It allows my iPod to be controlled through the touch screen on my dash.

Most exciting car, I ever owned was a Jag XKE 1962. Except it was a pain to keep running. This is quite a car and I have owned BMW 2002, 735i and 740i. Wife doesn't even realize when I go around curves fast lol.
