Used 2003 Jaguar S-Type Sedan Consumer Reviews
Great car.
This is just a great car. I fell in love with it the first test drive. A great car.
Tea Cup Holders
Great Car...Just a few minor interior changes would make it even better. Cup holders in front are small. Maybe the English have small tea cups. That's all. See John Rubik in sales he was great too.
SO FAR SO GOOD
HAD BMW'S AND MERCEDES IN THE PAST. FIRST JAG AND SO FAR I LOVE IT. EVERYTHING WORKS ALTHOUGH SO FAR THE GAS MILEAGE ISN'T SO HOT. AVE. 21 MILES/GAL. THE ONLY TIME I SEE THE DEALER IS WHEN I GO FOR A WASH I THINK IT'S THE BEST LOOKING SEDAN ON THE ROAD. CHANGED TO JAG CAUSE I GOT FED UP WITH GETTING RIPPED OFF EVERYTIME I WENT IN FOR MERCEDES SERVICE. THE DEALER WAS ARROGANT. HE THOUGHT HE MUST BE SELLING POPE MOBILES. YOU MIGHT AS WELL HAND HIM YOUR WALLET WHEN YOU ENTER THE SERVICE AREA. ALSO HAD FOUR MERCEDES AND WITH EACH ONE THE QUALITY PROGRESSIVELY WENT DOWN.
Improved Driver features
Having purchased a new 2001 S-Type and enjoyed it for 2 plus years, I traded it in for a new 2003 4.2 S type after seeing the improved design regarding placement of navigation display, telephone, audio and climate controls. The car is a pleasure to drive. Excellent handling and great power. Head room and trunk space are a little tight.
Former Vette Owner Sold on Jag S-Type V8
With only 1,500 miles on the odometer, I absolutely love my 2003 S-type. Having been used to gut wrenching off the line performance from my Vette, I was really apprehensive about the major shift in ownership. The Jag is second to none on interior and exterior quality and workmanship (something that has always been my sore point with the Vettes). The 4.2 Liter has not disappointed me in the least. The seats are excellent in comfort and the high quality of leather is wonderful. Did not go with the sport option, mainly as an an eye appeal decision. I like the natural wood, and chrome trim rather than the gray wood. Just a wonderful car inside and out.
