We LOVE our '96 Trooper LS!!! Granted, it doesn't get the best gas mileage or go 0-60 in 4 seconds, but it's reliable, comfortable, very roomy and it can go ANYWHERE!! Put some BF Goodrich All-Terrains on it and no terrain is off limits. Believe me, my husband's tested it.. Keep it maintained and it'll run forever!!!

All I have had are positive experiences. The snow in Washington has been terrible and the Trooper as been a trooper. I would tell everyone to buy this vehicle. I have never had a problem with rollovers or anything else. You want a good SUV that will get you through thick and thin. Then this is it.

We just gave our 96 Trooper to daughter, will get a 02 before they change to a GM base. Would like to have something negative to say about it but can't. We've lived in 3 staes put 70+ miles on it and have only done routine mnx..What else can you say. I'd prefer a more sophiscated vehicle but wife likes Trooper.

Nine years with this vehicle and it has surpassed my expectations. Very reliable and capable. Solidly built - still has that same tight feel as when it was new.

Am selling said vehicle because we have sold our Condo in NC. This was bought to use as a summer vehicle. Have enjoyed owning this car and wish I could keep it but have another vehicle.
