Isuzu
EXCELLENT car. This vehicle has been an extremely reliable vehicle. Normal wear-n-tear aside, it's never failed me. I'd buy another one if given the chance.
My Rodeo
I am the single owner of this 1995 Rodeo and NOTHING has ever gone wrong with this vehicle. There were minor problems with electric door locks malfunctioning. I don't care for the fit of the sunroof because it allows a lot of wind noise into the interior. Overall, this has been an EXCELLENT vehicle. She's still going strong and looks great after 10 years. She's going to be pulling a boat soon.
It just keeps on ticking...
A 1995.5 model w/ 130000 miles. Besides sticky rear power locks, one dead alternator and starter relay switch this thing has been extremely reliable. I still have the original front brake pads and rotors (front and rear) at 130,000 miles; they're shot and need replaced but good grief you can't beat that for durability. The Rodeo rides rough like the truck it wants to be and eats tires and I've never been able to keep it in alignment. Oh well, I don't worry about that minor stuff and just keep on driving. I've towed a variety of trailers with it and it does well up to about 3000 lbs, just stay away from really big hills.
best of the best!
After 9 years and 135,000 miles later, running like new, and to say $500 in repairs would be alot. Isuzu needs to make a car, gas prices are killing us!
Jury is still out...
Bought a 1995 model new in January of '96. It had oil leak problems beginning the minute the warranty ran out and they continue to occur. Seems to have a lot of electrical problems with inside lights etc. Power door locks broke, side rear-view mirror coming off, looks unglued, replacement parts inordinately expensive. Dealership twice as expensive on repairs as other dealerships. Overall, a lot of repairs and breakage for a car with only about 134000 miles on it - seems a car these days should get at least 200.000, but I don't think this one ever will. Resale value also terrible. Gas pedal cable broke two times - can't stop - danger!
