dependable ride
This vehicle has always been an enjoyable car to drive. The interior is roomy and after 60,000 milesit has not needed any major repairs. The rodeo drives great in snow. The only things that I would like to have changed is the rough ride and hard head rests.
Rodeo Saga
The Rodeo is a decent Suv, rear space is well suited for large people. Motor is really a GM Motor (check it)4wd is good, and it has plenty of up hill power about 190hp. Two things i dislike are cup holders early 95 and radio location. Beside that my 5 passeger Rodeo did the job. I did all my maintence and oil changes. Get the chrome package it looks better. I made mine a LS. Also, Transmission went out @ 72k, manual 5spd. About 1,700 repair
Keeps on ticking
I bought it with 35k and it now has 120k. This truck has been flawless for me. In snow, rain or minor off road use it does the job. We can even sleep in it if the rear seat is removed. The only thing that could be improved is the cup holder.
Getting tired of this truck
First 60,000 miles. no probs. now, wter pump, starter, electrical kickups, doors don't want to close right. WTF. and the resale value is only 6k?? should have bought a honda car instead of the suv . oh well.
185,000 and going strong!
This truck is so dependable, I cannot say enough about it. I purchased it brand new and the only thing replaced were the basics. Battery, starter, alternater, brakes and tires and a serpintine belt. This truck still has the original muffler! Changed oil every 3000Mi and this truck has been flawless. I even bought another Rodeo (2000, a buddies lease) that is sitting in my garage waiting for this one to go. It should be paid off before it does
