Used 2003 INFINITI FX35 AWD 4dr SUV (3.5L 6cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
rough rider
This vehicle is superlative in al aspects. The styling is unique. The sound system awesome. Unfortunately the ride quality is superlatively harsh. After only 2000 miles in the saddle, I had to give it to my wife. This may be a great car if you never drive over 5 miles at a time or if you only drive freshly paved highway. For those that need to drive in the real world, I would suggest you look elswhere. First and last infiniti for me. Can I get my Saab back???
G35 on Steroids
This car is seriously a sweet ride. Performs and handles like a sports car. The design is flawless inside and out. This car is a real headturner, always getting looks. Or maybe its just the driver ;).

Best of the Best
I go through cars like my wife does couches. After owning an X5 4.4i and an ML320, I like to think that I've experienced the best. Well, I have, until now. This vehicle is absolutely a step up from what I am used to...both inside and out. Superior materials and craftsmanship assure me that I will not have a favorite chair in the Infiniti service department (like I did at BMW) because I'll never be there.
New FX35
The FX35 is a pleasure to drive to say the least. It combines the best parts of a sports car and a wagon/small SUV. The biggest issue that I have with the vehicle is the number of problems I have had in a relatively short time. The initial build quality is not up to par with Lexus and BMW, I hope that the long-term reliability fairs better.
Recalls & Reliability Issues
I bought my FX35 brand new in May '03 and it currently has only 58000 miles on it. With the car came a number of recalls, more trips to the dealer than I can count, and recently a $2000 rack and pinion steering failure and repair (no longer under warranty!). While the service rep was good, I know it's just the start of more and bigger problems to come. My only alternative is to get rid of the car. I don't intend to sound dramatic about this, but I will never purchase another Infiniti. My overall experience was unexpectedly poor and my experpience with the Infiniti Consumer Affairs office was even worse.
