Great little car

Excellent fuel mileage. I went from a truck to this car when fuel prices went up and at first I wasn’t sure how I felt about it but I’ve gotten used to it and I love the fuel mileage overall. I wouldn’t trade it for anything and I’d definitely recommend it and I’d definitely buy another

Love the car but it can be small, it works great for small road trips and has great gas mileage

Worst manual I've driven

I have the 2021 Venue Essential because I was deadset on a manual car. I've always driven manuals and I love it. This is by far the worst one yet. I test drove a 2020 and oddly enough it was much better. There's a grinding noise when I push and release the clutch, aka every time I shift gear, and it gets very loud. I brought this up with the dealership the same day I took possession and they didn't take it seriously at all. They tried to brush me off with "we don't hear it", "we adjusted some things and lubed it", and "that's just what you get at an entry level car". Eventually, after having it in the shop for 3 months they replaced the clutch slave cylinder - apparently the manufacturer itself did acknowledge the part was faulty and they "upgraded it". It's slightly better, but the noise is still there. In addition, the front speakers have crapped out once already, and the brakes started to squeal after I drove it for an hour. Their response of "that's probably just morning dew" would make sense, had I not already driven the car for an hour... Oh, and the loaner 2020 Venue Essential they gave me was similar. Same sound when shifting, but also the screen wouldn't light up every time I started the car. Radio would work, touching the screen would create "button push sounds", but the screen itself was pitch black - happened both in reverse and first gear. Stay far, far away...
