Great Overall Experience, with one issue.
We bought this vehicle a few months ago with the convenience package. I had a 2007 Honda Pilot so I've been out of the game with all the bells and whistles cars have nowadays. So far this car meets my expectations. It is a comfortable ride and it handles pretty well around the city and on the highways. The engine is underwhelming which is why I only give 4 stars. My Pilot was a V6 and it went. With this car you have to press more on the gas, but it still doesn't give you that push.

The Tucson Secret
We had a test drive of the 2022 Tucson Hybrid (May 2021) and it is a very good car in all the respects of what people are saying with the exception of the secret. This issue is shared by many other small to midsized SUV's. AND no one that reviews them points this out! The passenger seat does not lower equal to the driver seat. Therefore, the headroom listed for the front seats in the manufactures websites is wrong. Every reviewer that prints the manufactures front seat headroom without verifying it is not doing their job. This may not be a big issue for everyone, however every mom or dad over 6' tall that buys one of these for his son or daughter is in for a big surprise when she/he goes for a ride. The manufactures and the reviewers need to be honest about the details of the automobile they sell or review. Most potential customers look-up this information when considering a purchase. I will probably still buy a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid because they look great, ride great and are a good value for the price. I do, however, expect the information provided to be accurate!

Eh
Nice looking interior. Exterior is subjective. The ride is ok, nothing like the hype you read about or the YouTube videos (all paid advertisements). If you want certain features, you're stuck with the high priced Limited version. And the higher end trims don't even support wireless CarPlay/Android Auto. There are tons of them now on the lots near me and they're over-priced for what you're getting. The ride refinement is simply not there as you would expect. And of course, you're in for a shock when you realize after buying it that there's no spare tire. Disappointing. The Limited trim should be closer to $33k. Simply overpriced, I should have waited.

It looks nice, drives nice but poor MPG on the AWD
I've owned the vehicle for 3 months. I love the style, exterior and interior. I have the SEL Convenience and Premium packages AWD version. My only disappointment is the MPG - City driving comprises 90% of my driving and I get 20 mpg. In this day and age with gas at $6/gal this low mpg is a wrong. I believe this is a deceptive selling practice taking advantage of the compact SUV market. I am sorry, one more peev!!! Who designed the windshield wipers? When cleaning the glass you can't lift the wiper assembly to a holding position so you can free access to clean the glass without having to hold the assembly.

Nice SUV But….
Purchased a new 2022 Tucson Hybrid and have had it for a week. Great ride and interior but, a couple of little things that are annoying! When in reverse, there is a warning ‘beep’ that is required by law. However, it is so loud, I’m afraid it will wake up my neighbors in the morning as it sounds like a construction truck backing out of my driveway. Also, the media system can be set for numerous “user profiles”, which is great as my wife prefers different types of music than I do. However, to change a “user profile”, the Tucson must be in park and not moving?! Very annoying if I want to listen to my music and I forget to switch to my “user profile” before driving.

Clueless transmission
What I dislike about my wife’s new Tucson The transmission has no clue what to do It shifts so fast just taking a normal corner that it majorly slows down and you have to give it a lot of gas to get going again and then it downshifts back to first and whines out The highway is a joke With cruise control on when you go to pass it will downshift and whine out to 4K and if on a slight incline will stay there and not shift Very terrible when you’re going 75 mph and screaming at 4K plus on the highway Something has to be done about it Very dissatisfied with this vehicle
Step back after HYUNDAI I40.
Now I have HYUNDAI TUCSON HYBRID, which replaced HYUNDAI I 40. What's good: silent, good acceleration What disappointed: It is not possible to turn off the linear support system, the hand-free system calls without a question "Do you really want to call XXXX? , as a result - many wrong calls. After the 12000 km needed to visit a the service, the car starts braking during the trip and only turning off / on the engine helps to continue the journey
