the tucson is a disappointment.
about a month after i bought it i realized the front collision warning system was not not working. i took it back to the dealer. they told they had called a different tech. he couldn't fix it either. they called a special factory rep. they wouldn't send one because of covid-19. it has been year and i still can't get it fixed.

Love my new Tucson
It has great pick up for a 4cyl. The Tan interior gives it a little sporty look to it. has everything in it. Including cooling seats which is really nice with the warmer weather. Only set back is the back slopes down so not as much room for hauling things.

2020 Tuscan Ultimate
We shopped around and found the color inside and out that I wanted. It has everything we need and more for the price.Best of all, the warranty and safety features on the Hyundai helped with the sale ! So far we love it!
A little pissed off.
Really liked my 2018 Hyundai Luxury and when I upgraded to the Ultimate it was because of options like the 360 camera view and autonomous braking but I found out that Hyundai kind of screws the customer around by also taking options away when you trade up. Although I upgraded from a Luxury to an Ultimate the navigation features I had in my lessor model Luxury were not all there in the Ultimate. Sneaky buggers, I didn’t notice until after I purchased. Pisses me off. And no, there is no mistake on the settings.

Second Tucson! Better Than the First!
I had leased a 2017 Tucson and drove it for three years. In those three years I had to replace one tire and one battery. That was all the trouble I had. I should add that I was proactive with the battery so I never had a problem. I leased a 2020 in November. I went from a SE to a Sport. The Sport has a lot more bells and whistles. It has heated seats, a premier sound system, automatic tailgate, plus a bunch of other things. The biggest change was that I went from their 2.0 liter engine to their 2.4 liter engine. The difference is pronounced. Acceleration on the older car could be a bit sluggish. The 2.4 is not sluggish at all. The premier sound system is really great. Okay, I love the heated seats too. The ride is comfortable. The controls are easy and very intuitive. Setting up things like the clock is a breeze. I test drove the CRV and found the controls to be more complicated and the car was, at least for me, very uncomfortable. The Tucson is a delight to drive and to ride in. My only knocks are these: The automatic tailgate, while really good, is something you have to get used to. Standing behind the car can launch the tailgate unexpectedly. The gas mileage is mediocre. Great car and a really good deal. You get a lot for less money with Hyundai.
