Not what was advertised
Make sure the dealer is reputable and will stand behind the car. I had to take it back to the dealer twice in the first week that owned it. A wire harness was not connected (the first time) the gas gage did not not work (the second trip). The dealer said "these things happen" I asked them where was the product control. They had no answer. The mpg is much lower than what Hyundai advertises. Of course their response is "it depends on how you drive". The cabin get very warm in the summer. All things considered I would not buy another Hyundai.

Small SUV
I wanted something higher than my previous car. So far, I like the Tucson but I loved my Sonata. If I had it to do over, I would probably purchase a sedan. But overall, it's a nice vehicle.

This suv has been the worst I have ever had. Its 2 years old and just shut down on us on a rural road. The engine is bad...2 years old. Pathetic, do not recomme d

seized engine
I am 62 yrs old. My husband and I have driven lots of different cars and trucks. We drive them for lots of years. We have only bought one truck new. The 2015 Hyundai Tucson is the first car we have driven that has had the engine seize. We take care of our vehicles with oil changes, fluid checks, and regular maintenance check ups. We work with a local mechanic. Very disappointed with the service we received from our local Hyundai dealer with the problem of the engine seizing up. Hyundai has had problems with engines. Not worth the hassle of dealing with a manufacturing problem. We buy Dodge Ram trucks because Dodge stands behind their vehicles. Hyundai does not.

Great car!
Overall, drives and handles pretty well. Gas mileage is pretty good, too, considering I drive over a mountain daily. After awhile, though, I started to notice the stiffness of the ride and the road noise. Not that is worsened, but the newness wore off and I'm noticing it more. A good car, though, and I like it!
