I have had my Tucson 1 week and I love it. However, as others have noted, the mileage is not what I expected or is reported. I am only geting 21.5 mph on the highway - granted the AC has been on high due to the high outside temps we have been having. May have to contact the dealer about it. Very comfortable especially when compared to my 2001 Forester! Am looking forward to using the heated seats in the winter, which are standard on the GLS model. Loving the blue tooth, XM satellite radio, and steering wheel controls, which are standard on the GLS I hope that it is as reliable as my Subaru was and that I am able to get the mileage up.

Bought my 2011 Tucson Limited FWD with Navigation Pkg a week ago. Took it on a 300 mi mostly highway round trip last weekend and averaged 29 mpg. It's comfortable, quiet, and fun to drive. Learning the navigation package is a project in and of itself.

Fun to Drive

Traded in our Audi Convertible because we needed more room. This is our first SUV and love it. It sits high with comfortable seats. Controls are easy to use. The dashboard looks impressive and the interior is pretty impressive as well. It doesn't look cheap at all. Our gas mileage, although only for 200 miles has been 30 miles/per/gal. Excellent. Of course thats mostly with hwy. The ride is ok, drives a little rough and you feel the bumps. But we are used to sedans. The car is worth the price and more.

The Limited meets my expectations and is fun to drive and use. It is comfortable and gets very decent gas mileage. Highway driving at 65 mph with some steep hills averages 29 mpg. Country driving at 45 mph averages 32 mpg. I let the cruise handle the gas instead of my big foot.

Best value for the money on a small SUV

In looks alone is the best of all small SUV's not counting SUV's that cost more than twice as much. For the price of a loaded Tucson, you can only get an entry level Tiguan or any other model. The only comparable SUV for quality and value is the KIA but t does not even come close to the good looks of the Tucson. Got my Limited, with navigation and sky roof for 26k(MSRP was 28.9k), not sure if it was the best deal but I am satisfied with the price.

Just what a wanted

My Tucson is 9 years old with almost 200K mi. I paid around $26K for a fully loaded FWD. Took good care and never had any major issues. Fit and finish wasn’t Honda or Lexus level but it was cheaper and was just what I needed and could afford. This is my second Hyundai, I think if you are budget conscious and have realistic expectations you will be happy.

I love the ease in which you can get in this vehicle. If you are disabled you will find this vehicle very accommodating in entering and exiting this car. The back seats are very roomy and comfortable. The car rides very smooth. The sound system is great. The trunk has plenty of room as well.

Just purchased the Hyundai Tuscon and I love it. Very comfortable seats. Went to Dayton, OH and got about 26 miles per gallon. Highway noise was limited, and the ride was comfortable. Plenty of driver and passenger leg room. The controls are very easy to reach. Good pick up and go. Was able to pass with having to floor it like I did in my Saturn Vue. So far I am very pleased.

I bought this car August 21, 2010 and already have 400 miles on it. It's a nice car to drive, however it does have it's drawbacks. There are times the car likes to brake for you (or at least apply brake pressure) (so you could be going 60 mph, and then all of a sudden going 55 mph. Not fun, but they got that development over the fact that Ford is awful (the roll over issue and tires exploding). That being said, it's got a nice ride - and handles well for the most part. Stereo is nice. Although be careful if you use water to wash it. Didn't know it would leave water spots on the car. If that's the way the paint deals with water, I may be giving the car back. Water shouldn't ruin it.

With a baby on the way I had to finally step up to the plate and buy an SUV. My funds are limited but I wanted something fun. I was at the local Hyundai dealer and saw a used 2011 Tucson. To my surprise it was a 5 speed MANUAL. Just to see I took it for a test drive. I was impressed! It was actually quite fun to drive! I ended up buying it on the spot. Mind you I have a Sentra SE-R and a Miata so I'm a performance enthusiast. The looks and feel of the Tucson is great. Driving "normal" to work I average about 30 mpg. Not bad at all. (Side note: I removed the Hyundai and Tucson badges and purchased some ix35 badges from Korea and now I get LOTS of questions about the car!)

Very nice SUV considering it's my 1st. Nice drive a bit noisy for wind noises. However the gas mileage is not good. I do a lot of hwy driving and get no where close to 30 mph. cant use my usb from Apple for my iphone
