Be aware of air bags
I purchased my car almost three weeks ago right before the birth of my first child. I purchased this car for the price, style, and safety. Well I only got two of those wished. In the past two months I have only had the car for maybe two and a half weeks. The air bag light in the dash board is always on because the passenger airbag sensor is not working and is never on if there is a passenger or not. Hyundai obviously has no way to fix this problem because after the car being in the shop for a month there is still no resolution just beware if this happens to you because now I have to go through the lemon law and find another car to purchase
Awesome but a few problems
This car is wonderful but there are issues. Bluetooth is horrible. People can't hear you. Also had problems with battery drainage but seems solved. Gas mileage is not at all what they say. I get 20-22 city and 26 on road with avg of 24. They just lied on the window sticker.

Great value for price.
This is the second Hyundai that I have had. My first was a Sonata, which was a fantastic car that gave me no problems. Like in all vehicles, keep on top of the regular maintenance and it should work just fine for you. I thoroughly enjoy the Tucson. It comes standard with Bluetooth so you can listen to your music off your phone/device and make and receive calls without being distracted since the controls are on the steering wheel. I was able to haul 20 cases(128 boxes) of strawberries recently in one trip, which was surprising. It handles like I would expect a SUV in it’s class to handle. Plenty of room for two car seats in the back for the kids, or adults. Get’s decent MPG for a SUV, but I am mostly a highway driver, so I usually get the top MPG when I drive. Comfortable seats hug you. Interior is very nicely laid out. I expect this car to last a very long time, as my other Hyundai did.

Where's the great gas mileage?
Okay, definitely a sharp looking little SUV- HOWEVER, like many others, I am hugely disappointed in the gas mileage, have seen my city mileage dip into the 16's, and now it's hovering in the 17 mpg range (drive in the ECO mode 98% of the time)- not even close to the advertised range. It is a cool looking, fun little car to drive, but would not have bought it if I had known the mileage numbers would be so far off. I traded in a Murano for the Tucson, hoping to get great gas mileage in a stylish smaller car- but the mileage is worse then the Murano's so far. What's up, Hyundai?
Just Right
I wanted a compact suv/crossover with good fuel economy. Overall I am very happy with the car so far, thanks to it's compact dimensions it's easy to park and maneuver on busy San Francisco streets. It's spacious compared to my old Honda Civic. I opted for the pano moon roof and GPS which are great additions, they make the car feel higher end. I feel the car has adequate power, but than again I am happy to compromise power for the sake of better fuel economy. The styling is great, the car feels solid, and the warranty is best in class. I also looked at the Honda CR-V and Nissan Rouge, but I felt the Tuscon would be a better car for me.
