2025 Hyundai Sonata Consumer Reviews

Engine issues
So I've had the 2025 Hyundai sel convenience for about 2 months now. And the one thing I can say I like about it is it is great on gas at least compared to my Ford Taurus SEL had previously. However the car itself has trouble accelerating like will literally lag for a second or so before finally wants to go I've noticed this is more when it's getting out of the first few gears as well which is actually worse since that's what your in most of the time when city driving. The infotainment system works pretty well as long as your cell phone has service and your not anywhere near the border like I am. Then you cant use it at all and have to rely on the generic gps and Bluetooth that is harder to figure out least on the gps side of things. The bluetooth side you just can't get directly into whatever app use for music not a biggy. My biggest issue overall is with the lag in acceleration I'm getting which can be a big safety issue exp if I'm trying to get out of the way of something and braking is not an option.

Fantastic Car!
I purchased the Hyundai Sonata Limited with red exterior and tan interior. The car is gorgeous! I have received so many compliments. The ride quality is excellent. It gets almost 50mpg. It has outstanding tech. Just a fabulous car!

Nimble little car!
This car comes well appointed in the lower trims The best buy is an AWD this only comes in the SEL trim unfortunately, but with heated seats remote start and all the safety tec I guess I can do without leather and a moon roof. Plenty of power, automatic transmission (not CVT), thankfully and great comfort. For this year they provide the app free for the time the first owner keeps the car and remote start is NOT tied to a subscription. I Love it. hopefully there will be more AWD trims next time.

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited
So far the car performs above expectations. Quiet ride, smooth driving, and the electronics are out of this world. The LED light across the dashboard and driver and passenger side doors are sweet at night. Head Up Display is very convenient and assists with safe driving with speed, cars left and right notice, sign identification, speed notice, and navigation all in the head up display. Leather is a great touch. Heated/Cooling Seats, Remote starting, and led lights in the front and rear. Side mirror notification and camera when utilizing the blinkers. This car has everything. You will not be disappointed.
