Used 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sedan Consumer Reviews
Great car for the money!
I short yearn lease this vehicle for ride share. This car is amazing. I feel like I’m drive a luxgery sedan. It handles and drives like a sporty v6. Mpg could be better but the feel of the car and comfort of the drivers seat make up for it! But the car you won’t be disappointed!

Great balance.
My family has always bought Hondas or Toyotas, but we don't really care for CVT transmissions. We decided to check out the 2015 Sonata just as a backup option, but we were very impressed. It doesn't do anything exceptionally well, but it is just such a good car overall that we purchased two of them: one for me and one for my father. It isn't fast, but it has enough power. The ride isn't soft, but it isn't rough or harsh. It doesn't get hybrid mpg's, but I average over 32 mpg with almost no highway driving. The interior styling won't win any awards, but it is very easy and intuitive...and spacious. Overall, a well built machine. Quite pleased with our decision.

Happy Driver
Terrific blending of style, comfort, reliability, and economic performance. Having owned everything from Toyotas and Mustangs to Jaguars and Cadillacs, this mid-sized sedan meets my current needs with flare and driving fun. Plenty of power to merge, pull up the Rocky Mountains, or lay down miles across the wide open spaces of Nevada. Change the oil, occasionally service, gas it up and watch it keep going!

The worst Car, never buy a Hyundai Sotanta
I bought a Hyundai Sonata sport 2.0T. After it reached 110.000, the engine had a problem with OIL CONSUMPTION; I purchased an Extended Warranty with a PROTECTION PORTFOLIO (Never buy this insurance, but it does cover nothing in the end), and they said that it was a manufacturing problem from Hyundai. Still, Hyundai washes its hands and declines, saying it is out of warranty. At this point, no one responded. I have to buy a new engine that is over $9.000. I would never recommend this brand, mainly because after 100.000 miles, you will need a new machine, and no one will respond; at that time, the coverage will end, and even if you buy an extended warranty, it will not cover.

Burns oil and sludge buildup
I have a 2015 Sonata 2.4 liter engine with about 140,000 miles. Starting at around 80,000 miles I have to add a quart of full synthetic oil every 800 miles. Also there is a sludge problem which requires a sludge removal treatment about every 6 months. The engine runs well and the motor oil is a lot cheaper than buying another car.
