Used 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS 4dr SUV (2.7L 6cyl 4A) Consumer Reviews
Hard to believe its a Hyundai
What a great vehicle. Styling is great, comfort great. MPG per tank has been no less than 23.5. Road trip of 250 miles saw over 27 mpg at 68 mph with a/c. The 2.7 is gutless when passing on a hill but fuel efficient. Otherwise engine is sufficient and quiet. Interior is very comfortable and quiet. I love driving to work everyday now! This vehicle hands down trumps the competition. I drove everything !
I would recommend,
I have had a great experience. Almost one year. Only trouble thus far cloth came away from driver side door handle, will be fixing. Also the esc light came on. Took it in to dealer was fixed right away, awesome service. There is no button or lever to "pop the trunk" even on key chain. Would love this when carrying a baby & bags in & out of car. Drives smooth, everyone who rides in car is always impressed. This is the best value after lots of research with other brands. Spend the extra money for the sante fe over the Tucson. Its worth it.

Great Surprise
I was hesitant when I considered a Hyundai. Research and friends who are Santa Fe owners alleviated my concern. I bought the GLS because cost figured in to my decision. I am not disappointed. This is a great SUV. It is all that I hoped it would be and more. After having owned Chrysler product minivans over the past 20 years, this GLS is a definite step up.It drives great, it's fun, it's comfortable. It looks great. My wife and i love it.
Oh Yea!
I purchased the pearl white model and it's a real head turner. The SUV is beautiful inside and out. I notice other SUV drivers looking at it in traffic and I've even had some approach me to check it out. I could see their jealousy and envy in their faces. I feel badly for the people who bought a 2006 Santa Fe. I would be kicking myself right now. When my wife suggested a Hyundai I thought she was nuts. (The name stigma). But after ALOT of research, on this, the CR-V, the Rav4, and the Forester, the Santa Fe blew them away. I was impressed with how far Hyundai has come. It's no longer the high rent Yugo, it's now the low rent Lexus!
Excellent Value
We tested a lot of medium SUV's, and we finally chose this car for it's style and value. The road noise is pleasantly quiet for a car of this type. The thermometer and compass (both standard equipment) were big pluses. We strongly recommend the larger (3.3L) V6 engine for its better acceleration and handling. The Santa Fe has been a joy to drive. It feels more like a car than a SUV. Our gas mileage has been 20.5 mpg in combined city/hwy driving.
