Great small crossover
Perfect car for a teen. We went up and got the limited with more safety features.
Worst Car Ever
It's nosey, searches out potholes, there's no storage at all and the seats are miserable. Other than those issues it's a great car. The AWD was excellent in the snow and it came with all options including blind spot, backup camera, front collision warning, and power windows. This is not a car for people over 5'6" because you'll nearly break your neck every time you get in this car. Why did I buy it? My wife thought it was cute and she loves driving it.

Fun to drive
I bought the 2020 kona ultimate in 2021 have had it for 6 months. I love this car, interior, styling, safety features, all 5 stars. If you are looking for cargo space this is not for you. But I wasn’t looking for that. Crossovers generally aren’t for big families. Great car would recommend..

2020 to Kona
2020 to Kona so far seems to be a good car. Only had it one week.
Got what I was looking for!!
My time looking for my perfect was worthy. It took me just a few minutes to make my mind since I had a good help and was a variety of cars to choose from.
Love my acid green Kona
I purchased my 2020 Kona Ultimate new in January 2020. Initially I test drove the base model and was dissatisfied with its power. But after trying the Ultimate with the turbo engine I purchased. At this point I have had my Kona for just over 5 years, and it is paid for! The good. I love this car. The STANDARD safety features including forward collision avoidance assist with person detection (it breaks for you if it thinks you will not be able to stop in time), Lane keeping assist (it nudges you back into your lane), Driver lack of attention warning, and cross traffic collision warning (it tells your if your changing lanes into someone in your blind spot) are AMAZING! They have saved me more times than I would like to admit driving in DC traffic on 495. Of course it also comes with stuff like anti-lock brakes, rearview camera, complete airbag protection, and parking distance warning. Since I purchased the Ultimate I also got blind spot monitoring, my now loved heads up display, and smart cruise control (it will maintain a pre-set speed and distance by automatically adjusting!) I have Zero complaints about the safety features. I also purchased the optional AWD since I was not used to driving in snow and thought I might encounter more up here. (I'm from Nashville) I in fact have not encountered more snow but it's still nice to have. In five years I have had zero issues with the car itself. I am not of course counting the 3 blown tires the first year, the first during the first month of driving. That hurt. DC driving is not for the weak. Things that could be better. The number 1 thing that could be better for me, is the road noise. Since I was spending so much time in the car it got on my nerves a bit. I could also use a bit more trunk space. I am child-free so the alleged smaller second row presented no issues. The other issue is with my beloved heads up display. it does not interact with my apps on my iPhone. For instance, I use Waze- it appears on my screen in car, but the heads-up display will not show it. :( If you use their directional system, you can have turn by turn on the heads up display. Would I purchase my Kona again? Yes, absolutely.
