The Ridgeline is a unique "truck". The comfort and all of the safety and convenience equipment exceed my expectations tations.

3 Jump starts in 2 days?

Bought my 2023 Honda Ridgeline in August 2023. Other than getting used to too many 'bells and whistles', I was pleased with my lease. UNTIL I had to kill time awaiting my daughter getting out of recovery room at hospital. I DID listen to my radio with just ACC on but for less than 10 minutes. Drove to another parking lot but changed my mind about doing unneeded shopping and my truck wouldn't start. Called AAA and the man jumped it. He told me two nights before he had a woman call him for a new Honda for a jump and the very next morning, needed another jump. Drove to Hyannis Honda and didn't shut it off until a Service man came out and he shut it off and it re-started fine plus went to visit at hospital - no issues. Next day I needed another jump start - I called Hyannis Honda and spoke to the same man that had shut it off and re-started. We agreed I would bring it in first thing Monday. I drove the truck around for an hour and parked and went into shop at a farm stand and didn't shut off the truck. This morning (next day) I went to start the truck - dead again! I will wait until tomorrow morning (Monday) to call again for a third jump and drive it directly to Hyannis Honda. This is UNACCEPTABLE for a vehicle that hasn't even gone in for it's first service!

Worst collision avoidance system of any car maker . Way too sensitive ! Very annoying to turn off every time I get in vehicle . Honda wake up! Needs more ground clearance for truck.

This is my second Ridgeline and it is better than the reviews I read. It drives lot a SUV yet has the ability to haul and load like a truck. You can’t go wrong with a Ridgeline!

So some of the stuff I blamed the dealer for mainly that the car was not detailed out and that cooler underneath the truck bed smells like a cheap boat and was absolutely filthy because they leave the cars outside so I guess that is just the dealer, but there were so many things wrong with the car. The most annoying was I squeak and rattle at 65 miles an hour that they could not fix right away and I was going to have to leave my car with them forever so a brand new car disabled and in the shop for something that should never never have happened I usually research my cars on websites like Edmunds and car magazines I subscribe basically to many of them none of them alerted me to the fact that the Honda safety features especially the cruise controls are terribly lacking in sophistication . the cruise control, quits working at 25 miles an hour. It just turns itself off. This is ridiculous, all of my other cars have stop and go cruise control and you can use it in the city where it is very handy in traffic. even though the Honda had a back up camera the back lights were so dim they failed to illuminate what was in the rear, so I was very dissatisfied with their so-called technology features In the short period of time that I had the truck. It never came close to approaching the mileage that it was supposed to get neither around town nor on the highway and there is so much cheap looking black plastic on the truck that you better buy stock in Armor-All . needless to say I lost money and got rid of it quickly. my prior experience with Honda was very good and involved almost 300,000 miles of trouble free motoring.divided between two Accords. The Ridgeline does not deserve even a one star rating. I disliked it so much i traded it in after one month of ownership and took the loss.
