2017 Honda Pilot - youngest car I've ever owned!
Only had this car one day, but I love it!
Spectacular 2017 Elite Pilot
When the description said it was as close to being new other than being new it was so true. It is in great condition, in fact when I showed my neighbor she thought it was new! I’m glad we bought certified. Edmunds information was very helpful in us making this purchase. This is my first “used” car and I love everything about it!

Great for Roadtrips
Overall one of the best cars I have owned. Roomy interior, multiple configurations for cargo and passengers and good gas mileage. Not sold on the infotainment system and Android Auto.

Honda Pilots are great Automobiles
This is the second Honda Pilot we have owned since 2011. We love the new body style. Lots of room and will carry 8 passengers. We now have 65,000 miles on our Pilot and have had excellent service. One new set of tires and regular maintenance and it rides like a new automobile. Very happy with our 2017 Pilot Our Pilot is now 6 years old and we have 80,000 miles. Still running great and rides like new. Very happy with Honda. We now have 86,000 miles and almost 7 years old. Great service and still rides like new. Will keep several more years.

Great SUV!
I just got a 2017 honda pilot. I had a crash after a Chevrolet ran a red light and hit my Pilot. Miraculously, Me and my family are Okay. I used to own a 2013 VW golf and I had a similar crash. Unfortunately, I had a broken bone and both my children were badly bleeding. This is why I believe the Pilot's safety is literally amazing! The only flaw I have noticed is the Acceleration performance. once the light turns green, I hit the accelerator immediately, but the Vehicle (usually) takes more than a second to react.

Great car for seniors
Access in and out is very important to me as I've aged. Visibility is also important and we are most impressed with the backup camera views. Car is reliable and and affordable to operate. We love it.

Auto idle stop is maddening
Every time you put your foot on the break and come to a complete stop for more than ONE second, the engine shuts itself off. So at every light, in traffic, etc, your car is constantly turning itself off and on again. You can turn it off, but you must do so every time you start the car. I’ll never buy another car with this feature again.

Roomy and refined Honda Pilot Elite
This SUV is very spacious and smooth driving. Very roomy for the driver and passengers. Elite trim has all the goodies and apple car play is great. LED headlights are amazing to drive with.

Spacious Interior
Owned it for 6 years. No mechanical issues. Touring trim is great. It replaced Chevrolet Suburban with same seating capacity, but much better gas mileage. A few things I didn't like -- push button transmission sometimes took a couple pushes, acceleration was sometimes jerky, really loud beep with power lift gate, and opening lift gate after car wash poured notable water down both sides.

HONDA PILOT
Easy to drive, comfortable on long drives, lots of room
Great highway car
Never have had any negative issues with our 2017 EXL Pilot. Will get close to 30 mpg at 70 mph freeway trips. Average in town around 21 mpg. Almost 60000 miles. Comfortable ride. Lots of cargo space.

Not my old reliable honda
We have owned two Honda pilots. The first we purchased brand new in 2016. We love the car. It drove very well, but had a relatively low mileage. It needed fuel injectors, as well as reoccurring issues with the O2 sensors. Due to an accident vehicle was totaled. We first purchased, our second Honda pilot which was a 2017. We own this car for four years. So far I have had to put a new transmission into the car, new fuel injectors, and the continues to be O2 sensor issues. I’m currently having electrical system issues That no one can seem to explain. I’m not sure what happened to Honda, but they seem to have lost their way with the pilot.

Just what I needed.
The Honda Pilot Elite is all wheel drive and can be taken on the beach or off road if need be. Lots of space in the back more than a regular SUV for my three dogs.

Unhappy Honda
Boring style, comfortable to drive, seats and long distance. Upper 20s gas mileage combination city and highway. Excellent acceleration and quiet engine and smooth transmission. Road noise higher than advrage but Honda is extremely cheap when it comes to tires cheaper than cheap. Headlight is not anywhere near good that is my biggest concern dim headlights. Ex should come with leather but Honda is overrated and over priced.

It’s the little things
While I am happy with the space and comfort we have, this SUV has several annoying features. Starting with most annoying first - cruise control. When you set the cruise, it immediately drops 2-3 mph, then speeds back up, and if you keep your foot on the pedal at all, it will just go right down to zero, with no catch at what you set it at or anything. The collision protection is definitely over sensitive, to the point where most of the time, it’s more harm than good, especially in city driving. The gas pedal is all or nothing, no in between, it either doesn’t go or you’re flooring it. Smaller items- You cannot pull the seatbelt out without it catching, the rear windshield wiper if more prominent and easier to use that the front, and the whole infotainment situation is not intuitive. Updating navigation is a hassle. And I’m still not sure how the locks work on different doors when you’re outside the vehicle with it running or not, it’s s pain. It’s not as bad car, but I would not buy it again.

I'm An Idiot for Buying this car
Bought new with 180 miles on it. Dealer claimed it came from another dealer to trade for a car someone wanted. It has loud noise when hitting bumps in right rear and it's aggravating. Thinking of selling.
