Great Family Car

Purchased Ody EX on Dec, 14th and took a 600 mile trip to Kansas City with the family. There was some pronounced noise on very course pavement, but overall much quieter than our 1999 Honda Ody. The overall gas mileage was 22 mpg..not bad with headwinds to and from our destinations. The engine has lots of power during acceleration onto freeways or in town. Cornering is great even on tight turns. Seats are firm but comfortable. Instruments are well positioned. Really like the small light that shines on the tray between the front passenger/driver seats as it allows you to see your cell phone or whatever in on the tray without turning on the reading/dome lights. Kids love the window shades.

On the Road Again...buying my 3rd Odyssey Touring

This van has been wonderful! We had a 2004 now a 2007. Our son, then 14 years old, introduced us to the Odyssey because he loved riding in his friends van...an Odyssey. He made arrangements for us to test drive theirs...and we were sold. Road trips for travel baseball and vacations from Indiana to Florida and Minnesota were a breeze. In 2007 when they introduced the auto rear gate lift, parking sensors, rear backup camera and more, we had to have it. We've averaged 14,333 mi per year on our 2007. The roomy interior minimized the "she's touching me" arguments and the entertainment center with the wireless headphones are a real treat. It's spacious cargo area has held baseball equipment to college dorm move in...in one trip. Easy smooth ride with 4 captains chairs and split seating in the 3rd row. Awesome turning radius...great for those crazy Michigan U-Turns and all of our Round-Abouts in our fair city. Everyone loves it in our family...we are moving on to our 3rd Odyssey to transport our grandchildren safely. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Very well designed and reliable vehicle.

Have owned the van for 7 years and put about 60,000 miles on it. It has been an extremely reliable family vehicle - I have had almost no problems at all aside from an airbag-related sensor that had to be replaced and the usual maintenance (brakes, tires, etc). Surprised at the number of bad reviews on here. This is a very well designed vehicle for someone with 4 kids (or without).

2007 Ody, bought new in May of 2007, now has 297k. I have changed oil with Mobil 1 Extended Performance Synthetic every 10-12k miles. Been through four sets of front pads, rotors, rear pads and rotors replaced once, full timing belt service at 135k and 250k. Changed plugs myself at 176k, they still had more life, but changed anyway. Power sliding doors have had issues, had tranny reflash, brake recall done (air in lines) , tranny fluid done three times so far, four sets of tires, rear lift gate struts failed at 200k and five years. Doing new front axles, lower ball joints, wheel hubs and bearings, front struts, rear shocks soon. Looking to get another 200k out of her, heck at this rate the van will outlive me !!

290K and still going strong. Might have to replace CV Axles, they having been making a clicking noise for about 80k miles now. Engine still as smooth and powerful as when new. Goes like a tank through the snow with Blizzaks on. Power doors having issues. Just have open manually now, good exercise. Still on only second set of spark plugs, all original exhaust, transmission. This van is pretty amazing.

World'd Finest Minivan

This is a brilliantly designed car, and it handles beautifully on the road. It can accelerate impressively, has been very reliable, and is quiet and very comfortable. There is more space for people and cargo than with any other car that I have seen, with the exception of a Suburban (which handles like a big, clunky truck). The Odyssey handles like a luxury car. The flexibility of the 60/40 split 3rd row seat, and the way it simply folds into the floor, is wonderful. I test drove the newer style of the Odyssey, and the 2007 seems to have more interior cabin space. We are the original owners, and our children have grown up in this car. It has been wonderful to be able to fit our 3 children, plus 1 friend for each of them, when we use the optional 8th seat. We love having the option of having an 8th seat when we need it, or easily removing it (and storing it in the floor) when we don't. This car can't be beat for families!

What an Odyssey!

New in 2007: 1) Telescopic steering wheel(great if over 6') 2) Tire Pressure Monitor which alerts the driver if one of the tires experiences loss in air pressure 3) Coin Holder in center dash cup holders. The leather seats are very comfortable and the front captain seats offer electric heating for those in colder climates. The instrument panel is very intuitive & the design/lighting is the best I have viewed. Odyssey is filled with safety features from the front, side & curtain airbags along with sliding side doors that will stop if they encounter any resistance. VCM feature shuts down one bank of cylinders when coasting, thus increasing fuel economy. I highly recommend the Odyssey

Touring, Exploring & hauling more than groceries!

This is my 3rd Honda Odyssey, 2nd in this body style and 1st at this trim level. WOW! My original Odyssey was a 2003 EX-L, with power everything but no bells or whistles. Standard perks of this model: automatic doors & rear gate, parking/proximity sensors, 6 CD changer, DVD player & sunroof. Loved having a nice caddy below the middle row for storing jumper cables, extra bug spray, and hide treats for special events. SO MANY cup-holders and little places to store a variety of things! We bought this used, from a private seller. Things we didn't know at the time include a rebuilt title, and some prior mechanical issues. Even with those minor faults, we still had 3 great years of driving her. We added a large cargo box to the roof rack to extend our storage area (especially great for long road trips not having to fill the passenger area), and after-market rubber mats for all areas b/c we live in Alaska which means lots of snow, pea gravel and mud during certain times of the year. We've had up to 6 passengers plus the driver, all in total comfort for 8+ hr road trips. She's held 119 cases of Girl Scout cookies (could've fit up to 2 more, maybe 3), over 65 bags and boxes of donated items for a fundraiser. In short, she never let us down! I especially loved the V-6 engine for those crisp accelerations, and fantastic, clean handling. We had some minor repair issues, due more to the rebuilt title status than my original '03 Odyssey brand new off the dealer floor. But she started up every day, even in -50 temps, she warmed up quickly, and transported many days to school our kids (and others). I will miss the ease of her cargo flex space, and her safe carrying demeanor. Farewell my sweet old girl! Sold her with 127xxx miles to a family that is growing. Now it's time to find a Honda to train my kids how to drive! (probably getting them a used Fit) #hondaforlife

I purchased new in 07 after laborious research for a long term investment for family with little ones. This van has put up with the daily grind of private school drop-offs and pick-ups, grocery getting, kids sports activities and several trips to the Florida Keys from WI. Maintenance schedules were mostly followed and like any vehicle, parts do need to get replaced. (Alternator, A/C condenser, rear shocks) The first brake pad change was at 100k, and now at 70k on the same untouched rotors. The reliability has been great.....as expected from Honda. For errand running it is very easy for the driver to slide in & out. No rocker curb to lift your feet over and the drivers seat is perfect height (no falling into a car or pulling yourself out). Very easy to get baby seats in & out of the rear seats. as kids got older the electric sliding doors made kid drop-offs a breeze. Never had a problem with them and only God knows how many times they've opened and shut over the last 9 years. Adding a roof rack allowed enough storage for a family of 4 to tent camp for 10 days (1500 miles away). A recent $250 was spent updating the stereo to the Bluetooth era. Planning on keeping this vehicle for several more years. Dependable is the biggest quality. My only minor complaints is the road noise on the highway (not as quiet as a Cadillac). Also, the transmission shifting has always shuttered a bit between 2nd & 3rd (not too noticeable but curious).

Don't believe the Reliable Honda myth.

10/9/18 Update: replaced transmission range switch- $400. - because van would not move in Reverse or Drive for ten minutes. Honda say thesis a common problem in Odysseys and Pilots. Honda says this repair might not fix problem because shift linkage cable doesn't always go into Park and problem might return unless cable is replaced - $600. These are not problems found in modern cars. 250K mile problems in a 99K mile vehicle. I'm looking for a different van now before this Honda self-destructs. 9/11/18 UPDATE: Forget about the "reliable Honda" myth/marketing scam. More like a mid-70s era GM vehicle. This van had major problems at 60K and thousands of dollars later, at 99K, the power steering pump I replaced with the new steering rack is leaking 30K later, a front lower control arm is cracked (?!!!), and the valve cover gaskets are leaking. Modern cars don't have these problems. The last time I had a valve cover gasket leak was in a 1969 Dodge van. Shades of 70s era GM vehicles. Don't be a sucker. Buy a Toyota. This is a 8/1/16 update of my 2012 review. I have had to replace the power steering rack and pinion and the front motor mount. The rack was a $1700. job and the mount $450. Honda USA refused to admit their recalled power steering pump damaged the rack and did not offer any "good will" discount. It's a money pit. I'm going back to German for my next vehicle. I bought this van used. My mechanic, a 30 year veteran, did pre-purchace inspections on six Odysseys before we found a well maintained one with 60K. I was happy with the van for the first few months, and then....problem after problem: a blown power steering line and rack and pinion, motor mount, overheating caused by a faulty Honda fuse, CV/axle joints, timing belt, the rear widow washer doesn't work and would cost hundreds of dollars to fix. Noise in final drive section of the transmission!

Purchased the van in August 2010 as a used certified pre-owned vehicle. Mechanically, we have no complaints with the van; everything mechanically works well and functions as it should. It is great to drive. However, it has BSR issues (Buzz, squeak & rattle). Squeaky drivers door, interior plastic component noises and warped front window cowl which caused a annoying whistle.

This is our second Odyssey. We cannot believe the difference in refinement and performance over the '99, which we thought was a very good vehicle. Great drivetrain - smooth, powerful engine (drive by wire throttle is very responsive), excellent shifts. The audio system is not great, but if you want to spend a bit more money, upgrade with aftermarket stuff. Very cool NAV system (voice activated). XM radio was a nice touch. The interior is very well laid out, high quality. Would have been nice to have a 110volt outlet, but we'll make do. Also, I prefer the cruise control on my '97 M3 - why do you need 4-5 buttons to control it when one stalk will do? Great job, Honda.

This is an update to my post on 07/03/10 regarding the transmission problem with my 2007 Odyssey 40k miles. The dealership I went to told me that Honda did not admit there was problem with the transmission because the warning/engine light did not turn on. Eventually the dealership did put in a new torque converter. However, the brake issue was never resolved and there is still problem with brake even after they re-rotor the disc?. I think the dealership does not know what the problem is. On one rainy day, I almost hit the car in front of mine because the odyssey glided forward even though I pressed the brake all the way. I called Honda manufacture customer service and spoke to the manager

Why did we buy a 07 Odyssey Touring R+N, well the VALUE of HONDA doesn't decrease like it does with any other van available on the market. SAFETY is the number one reason why you should buy an Odyssey, We get decent mileage considering that we drive a 4000+lbs tank. We have a 06 Odyssey EXL N+R with 33K miles and it drives and rides like it just came out of the showroom. So the 06 will have 150K in another 4 years. We could have gotten a ford product since my dad works for them but they would never hold the value. If they ever come out with a VOLVO Van we may consider it but until such time Its the Odyssey. Yeah it might be a tank, but it can do so much for so little.

Traveling is very comfortable with captains chairs. The back row of seats can easily fold down and the captain seats can be removed so you can haul a full sheet of drywall or a full sheet of plywood. It's a very versatile van. We will miss this van because we are down sizing. Our kids are out of college and in homes of their own. Our remodeling is complete.

Needed a low cost reliable minivan for my wife to transport Grandkids. Found great deal on base model 2007 Honda Odyssey with 141,000 miles. We like that it does NOT have all the bells and whistles . . . fewer things to breakdown to repair. Drives good for a minivan. Has good power. Does not get as good fuel mileage as my Camry - - but that is expected. Has plenty of room for 4 Grandkids with 3 in carseats. Seems easier to get to the back row to buckle in kids than the Toyota Sienna. . . . Was also alot less $$ , newer year, with fewer miles than any of the Sienna minivans that I could find. Honda is the way to go on older lower cost used minivans !

Honda continues to build a great vehicle with so many features, plenty of power, and comfort necessary for those long trips. The ride is smooth and quiet but yet there's plenty of power in reserve when you need it. All the leather seats are very comfortable and actually fit an adult over 6' tall (a major selling point for me). We didn't purchase the touring because the additional features were not needed and the consensus was that there are still issues with the run-flat tires that need to be worked out. I think the parking sensors should be standard - instead I will be purchasing them from Bernardi Parts. This van has the same turning radius of my '95 accord!

There is nothing more important to me as a father of three, than moving my family around with peace of mind. Besides this is a great vehicle in pretty much every aspect, is incredible to see, after a little resarch, that this van is even safer than some Volvo cars. Driving is simply awsome you will not believe you're driving a vehicle this big, it just make you feel safe and comfy. Comfort is another high for this van, everybody in my family says is a great improvement from our last van, also an Odyssey. Just by driving it, you will find out why is so well considered within editors and users all around.

This is a first impression only... but so far the new 07 Honda Odyssey has me very impressed. We just upgraded from a Subaru Forester. The Odyssey gives us lots more space, seating flexibility, comfort safety and creature comforts. I am dreading to find out what the actual mpg will be, but that's a sacrifice you make by getting a van. Initial impressions include: solid craftsmanship, nice interior design, solid pick-up, great rear camera feature, nice drive.

This is a very practical car. It has plenty of power, lots of space, comfortable seats and ride and great visibility. I've had station wagons, a Corvette, a GTO, and 2 Audi's and overall I would rate this car the best. Over 12-K miles an virtually no repairs and maintenance costs arr minimal. It has space for 6 adults and with 4 in the car there is plenty of storage space. Overall a great car!

We use our EX-L for hauling bikes, Labrador retrievers and light cargo for home projects. We've taken the middle seats out and keep the rear seats folded down into the floor. Imagine my surprise today, when I accessed the compartment below the rear seats and found the carpet soaked with about 1/2 inch of water. I googled the problem and found that this is a common problem with the Odyssey and has been prevalent since 2001. My main complaint is that Honda knows of the problem but responds as if mine is the only case ever. Honda will lose me as a follow-up customer. I don't like dishonesty.

I read several of the previous reviews and had to comment. I am surprised at how many Odyssey owners are so disappointed. I guess we are lucky. I think its perfect. The fuel economy is never going to be what the sticker says on any vehicle. We all bought the van because we had to haul multiple people. The more you haul, the heavier the van and the lower your fuel economy. Improve your driving habits, properly inflate your tires, etc. and you'll get better fuel economy. It drives smooth, handles well, strong engine, good looks, luxurious, and storage is great. I've driven Sienna, Grand Caravan, Uplander, Freestar, Sedona, SUVs in the last two years. Hands down winner is Odyssey.

This was by far the best vehicle we ever owned. Sold to a friend in 2020 with 232,000 miles on the odometer. Vehicle still ran good and was reliable. Did all the scheduled maintenance and had to replace alternator. Raised 3 kids with this van and hauled multiple materials and furniture for moves. Would have purchased another but did not need the capacity of a van any longer so purchased the CRV.

My wife and I drove several different vans and had it narrowed down to the Sienna XLE and the Odyssey EX-L. I decided that I wanted to drive the Odyssey Touring to see if there was much of a difference. I couldn't believe how much nicer of a drive the Touring model was. I love it. There are a ton of features that are all useful. This is one nice van.

1012/21 Update: After all of the initial, expensive, repairs you'd never expect from a Honda, it's been OK. But, the (notorious) new Honda rack and pinion I had to install has a slow leak and is out of warranty now. I'm not replacing it again, just keeping an eye on the fluid level. At 112K, the second replacement of the timing belt is due this month. Another 1200-1500 dollars. But at this point it's running straight and tight, and the 3.5 liter, running on 93 octane, is like a V8. It's running OK and it's paid for. Consumer Reports now rates the Odyssey as one of the "Most Unreliable" used cars. I bought this van used. My mechanic, a 30 year veteran, did pre-purchace inspections on six Odysseys before we found a well maintained one with 60K. I was happy with the van for the first few months, and then....problem after problem: a blown power steering line, overheating caused by a faulty Honda fuse, a bad power steering pump, and a leaking power steering rack (at 64K?!). I called Honda USA about the leaking power steering rack and asked them for what is known in the business as "Goodwill". They were arrogant, refused, and could care less about repeat customers. Updated 4/11/16: Power steering rack, power steering pump, power steering line, electrical problem/overheating, CV joints, plus basic maintenance puts this vehicle with the most unreliable I've ever owned. There is also, what my master mechanic describes as: a low level whining noise on the up side of a gear in the final drive section of the transmission. This might be from incorrect tolerances in the build and could stay like that forever and not get worse, or, it could get louder until the transmission will have to be replaced. It's been there for years and has stayed the same. Problems you would never expect from a well maintained Japanese car. Sound-proofing ineffective and road noise loud. Handles great with T rated tires. Unique tire size limits your choice of replacement tires. Buy one at your own risk. You might get a good one, or you might not.

Car rides smooth. Plenty of power for a minivan. Handles well. Honda navigation is great, but voice activation is not very good. Great car. The storage is great and there is plenty of room for everything.

After owning several Honda products including a'01 Van there have been a lot of changes in the '07 model Touring. The ride is fantastic and the performance improved a lot.Fit and Trim is tops and inside design has improved a lot but could use a few more minor improvements.

Compare to Sienna

This is a excellent riding vehicle with many worthwhile safety features. Although the engine has an ECO mode the overall MPG is only 15. The lowest mileage has been 12 and the highest is 22 during the three months we have owned this vehicle. Our previously owned 'O4 Sienna got about 5-6 mpg more for the same type of driving. Access to the third row seat was easier in our Toyota Sienna. The PAX (run flat) tires are nice to have but will cost significantly more to replace that conventional tires. The navigation system is easy and fun to use but frequently comes up with,"entering unverified area" on some of our routes. We liked our Sienna better but this is still an excellent minivan.

We Love this Van!! Kids have so much room. More comfortable than our previous 01' Dodge Grand Caravan. Don't know about the gas mileage yet but it doesn't seem to be horrible like other reviews suggest. If you live in snowy conditions like we do definitely pay a little extra to get the rubber floor mats and cargo tray. This van has so much "get-up" for a van that I catch myself speeding often. Love the back windows, the cargo storage area, the 8th seat, the heated seats, the moonroof, THE RIDE!! Test drive everything else and then get this Van!!

Only had the Odyssey a couple of weeks but I'm very impressed. The Nav. is Awesome! Haven't had a chance to check the gas mileage out yet. One this extra that the nav. does that the book won't tell you is you can pull up Religious Organizations. Under Places go to Advanced and put in Religous Organization. We have a small Church and it was even listed. That's good for Church goers.

2007 Touring model different from EX

The Touring model is vastly different in ride, handling, and drivability than EX. Took home an EX-L w/dvd on Saturday and the van had a shimmy in it and front end groaned on slight bumps. The tires were noisy and the radio was the pits. Not too hot for $35K. Back to the dealership on Monday and drove the Touring - light years ahead. Was able to "upgrade" for more money and am very happy execpt for the so-so speakers. It drives as well as my S420 Mercedes. If you can afford the Touring, drive it last and you'll take one home. Don't be fooled by the run flat sticker shock. $190 if you have to buy one from the dealer. Michelin will warrant them for 2 years @ no cost if + 50% tread left.

I am on my second Odyssey. The first we sold thinking our 06 Civic would serve our needs with our 5 kids on their own. One vacation to Florida and we now own a used 07 Odyssey - just like our first one. Service the vehicles by Honda and use only Honda fluids - especially in the steering, braking and transmission systems - and such problems will not exist. A lower grate is available for protection of the a/c condenser. Battery - the Odyssey has a lot of electrical assy. I replaced my battery with a DieHard. No more battery issues.

Bought used in 2009. It now has 120,000 miles, a mix of long highway driving and short trips. This car has not been babied. Only maintenance is oil/filter changes. We've had to put a couple thousand dollars into it replacing normal aging things. Passenger side door has to be pulled twice to get it to close or open and it kinda thuds when it does. The cloth interior has a lot of worn spots and paint around the bumper is peeling in places. Overall it's been a great car. The kids hate driving in an "uncool" minivan but love having room for a bunch of friends. They love the interior as well. This car is great for long road trips. Very comfortable. I plan to drive it another 100,000.

It took me over a year to finally convince myself to buy a "minivan" instead of my usual SUVs. But when comparing gas mileage, type of gas, price, and all options I wanted, the Odyssey came out on top every time. With 2 kids, the auto doors & auto rear hatch have made my life so much easier. Navigation is tops, very smooth ride, more interior room than my Suburban, and my husband enjoys playing with the navigation center while I drive. A+ all the way.

The ECO turns on and you know 3 cyls are firing! You're saving major on the gas! That's a big help on ANY trip! Capacity is awesome! and the versatility of moving the seats is great. We have 2 baby seats and can still seat 4! The rear storage is VERY practical! They even have hooks for grocery bags! Kids love it. I'm actually glad we didnt get the embedded rear entertainment - Kids get their own DVD players or we just sit one between the seats for a feature presentation! With plenty of storage and lots of room - I'm glad we went with Odyssey

I traded a 2004 Ody EX for the 2007 Ody LX because I was really taken by the new design. I know am of the impression that I could have kept my 2004 and been just as happy if not happier. Overall the 2007 model design is an improvement over the 2004 model, but the execution has a lot to be desired. I noticed an engine drone noise at 180 miles. Honda says its characteristic of vehicle harmonics.(What nonsense!) At 400 miles noticed whining buzzing noise from power steering pump. I took it in to the dealer and was told that they could not duplicate prob. Drove the vehicle myself and brought back to dealer while making noise. They finally acknowledge issue with 05-07 power steering pumps.

We researched minivans for years before we finally bought one and without a doubt the Odyssey has met all of our expectations except for one. To us it looks the best, but it truly shines in all the important areas. Its ride is awesome. Plenty of power and handles like a dream. The fit and finish are impeccable and everything is where you would expect to find it. The leather is fantastic. It is the best vehicle we have ever owned.

Just hit 275,000 kms (170,000 miles) Total repairs to date $304. Original brakes went 185,000 kms, still on second set. Would like to buy another one but Honda Canada have cut the number of available colours from 11 to 4 with no choice on interior. Took it to a reputable independent garage for an opinion. They could not find a thing wrong with it. May try for 400,000 kms.

I'm surprised at how many wrote in saying they were disappointed with the 07) but the star rating they gave the van was 4 stars--huh? This is our second Odyssey. Our first was a 2004 lease that was very nice. A few problems we had with the 04 were covered under warranty. The battery had to be replaced, rear window in the back motor had to be replaced. And even though I hit the button to lock the car (and heard the beep) one of the back doors was not locking. For our 2007 . We now have 68,000 miles on the car and it has been very reliable (knock on wood) all we had to do was normal maintenance. New tires, alignment, battery, and brakes. We did replace the battery (with in first 2 years

Gas Guzzler - Excessive Wind Noise

We turned in our 2004 Odyssey LX expecting to get better performance from the re-designed 2007 LX. *It turned out to be one of the worst vehicles I've ever owned over the last 43 years behind the wheel! It seems like we visit the gas stations every time we take it out! And as you can see,we only travel an average of 7500 miles per year!I would estimate the true MPG to be around 10 MPG CITY and about 18 MPG highway! Pathetic! I should have opted to keep the 2004 LX! Another factor to stay with the Odyssey was the convenience of the side door windows that can be opened. We hardly use them because of the excessive pounding, thumping wind noise that occurs when you're going over 15 MPH!

Great minivan. The RES is A+. We have a Dodge Grand Caravan as well and this vehicle is far superior. Test drove a pilot as well. This Van was more flexible for getting people in and out of it than the pilot. The leather interior is very nice and the heated seats are great! The car has a very tight turning radius compared to our Dodge. The interior controls are laid out nicely. The steering wheel radio controls are a bonus. Opted not to get the touring model because of the required run-flat tires. (Costly to replace) Did not have a need for the navi so I opted not to get it. Me and my wife now fight to drive this vehicle. The stereo system is weak and the speakers are lame!

I put on 2000 miles a month. I get about 20 mpg in town, and 23-25 on the highway at 60-65. At 70-75 on the interstate, it's about 22 mpg. Nothing to complain about there. The car is more comfortable than the Grand Caravans I've owned, or than my son's 08 Sienna. The feel on the road is much better than the Sienna for me as a driver or passenger. I'll get about 35K on the PAX tires, and then I'll dump them and the rims. WheelMax has the replacements, and various Honda dealers online have the tire pressure sensors at $35 apiece. The whole switch will cost what new PAX tires would, and then anyone can repair/replace a blowout.

I just love this vehicle. It is fun to drive and has plenty of enjoyable features. I expect the reliability to be the same as all the other Hondas I have owned. This is my first Honda van. I always had a GM product but the last one pushed me away. The leather in this vehicle is beautifull. The integrated dvd and nav system works great. Love the voice command prompts but still need to learn the lingo. Vehicle is tight, no rattles. Drives more like a sedan than a truck. Can't wait to take it on a long trip. Back up camera is great. Removes that fear of not seeing what is right behind you. I highly recomend this van.

Many people are talking about the 2007 brake recall on thousands of these mini vans. I got an extremely great deal when I purchased this vehicle used that I knew I would be putting a few bucks into the van. Having said this I realized right away that something was not right in the front end. Long story short, air is finding it's way into the brake lines. As a mechanic I remedied the problem by bleeding all 4 calipers and also a full rotor and pad replacement on all 4 wheels. Immediate results and to date has not recurred. I did not use genuine Honda rotors as they have a history of being thin and warping easily. I used a quality after market.

OK let me just say I almost NEVER leave a bad feedback and this is my first time on Edmunds. My wife and I owned a 2002 Honda Odyssey and loved it so when she wanted to purchase another I said no problem I trust Honda and we certainly had a good experience last time. WOW what a change! The 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring version is a POS and that doesn't even do it justice. Let me tell you my next car WILL NOT be a Honda. List of nightmares..... 1. Run flat tires that cost $1000.00 each to replace so everyone buys the NON-run flat tires and wheels which cost me $1200.00 2. Never ending low tire pressure light even after 10 trips to discount tire and dealership. Dealer charged me $200.00 to reset the light and it still came back on 3. Power Steering pump nightmares that don't go away no matter what you do 4. Bad alternator at 63K 5. Bad compressor at 60K 6. Bad HVAC controls at 50K 7. Factory tire size way to small scraps over a pebble in the road 8. light bulbs out several times before 30K 9. Ashtray fell off 10. No center seat, what a stupid option 11. seats hard to fold up and down, too confusing
