I usually drive accords but I tried and bought the 22 insight touring In city driving I get around 53 to 62 mpg hwy 51 mpg The interior is definitely not a civic More like a upper class accord with yes a little less shoulder room but amazing enough more leg room than my 16 accord coupe and I am 6foot 2.add the safety suite and stop and go cruise well I love it and been driving honda for 20 plus years

It has been 3 years since I got my 2019 Insight. It has been such a great car that I also just purchased a 2022 model. Updated features and a great improvement. We now have a 2010 with 267,900 miles and no repairs, a 2019 and now a 2022. Best car for the money. Also 55 MPG helps also

A Hybrid With Style & Features

After owning several Prius models, I decided to change to a Honda Insight. This hybrid, especially in the top-of-the-line Touring model, is loaded with many features including a moonroof, GPS, many safety features, leather seats and more. Yes, these can be found on Honda's competition but at a higher price. The Insight looks like a typical sedan, so if exterior design is a concern look no further. My only negative is that the fuel economy is slightly less than the competition. This is probably due to the extra features loaded onto this vehicle. If you're looking for a hybrid loaded with extras, seriously consider the Honda Insight.

This car is the hidden gem in Honda’s lineup. Looks, feels and drives great. I routinely get 60+ MPG in the warmer months. My only complaints are: no sunglasses holder is a bummer, no seat position memory, auto wipers are basically useless, the gas motor can be loud, no spare tire and it’s low to the ground so you could hit a curb etc when parking so you should be careful. Be aware of those complaining about gas mileage.. these are folks that have ZERO clue about how to drive a hybrid. They’re driving this car like a regular gas engine car and expecting hybrid MPG. This is a hybrid automobile and has to be driven as such in order to get great MPG (coasting and/or using paddle shifters on the steering wheel to maximize regenerative braking, sensible acceleration, etc..)… 60+ for me routinely and I have the Touring trim which has bigger wheels and is supposed to get lower MPG than the EX and LX models. 2 year, 25,000 mile UPDATE: I love this car more and more every day! Still getting 60-65 MPG during the warm months.. I bought a spare tire kit, well worth it. Zero issues to report… One of the best cars I’ve ever owned.

Great Hybrid Electric Vehicle

Just purchased my 2022 Honda Insight yesterday and I'm already looking for reasons to go places and test out all the safety and tech features! All three modes (EV, Sport, Eco) are super quiet which I really like. Traffic sign recognition also comes standard with this vehicle. Not a big difference between the 2021 and 2022. I did notice an extra Hybrid logo on the driver side. It was a tough decision between this and the 2021 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid, but ultimately the Insight has the highest safety ratings. Its a Top Safety Pick Plus by IIHS and has 5 stars across the board by NHTSA. I also like the quality of the interior design better as well. Overall this is a great vehicle and I'm really happy with my purchase!
