Not the slug it's purported to be
2023 LX AWD. Soaks up road imperfections well. Happy brake lock now stays on after re-starting. No more annoying engine on/off to appease EPA. Excellent adaptive cruise control. (Maintains speed down the steepest hills). Fantastic brakes. Seats a tad too stiff and no lumbar. Excellent handling. Proven 2.0 liter is extremely reliable. Gas mileage just decent. Fast enough for any conservative driver. A keeper.

Great Little SUV
Easy to handle. Big enough for a trip for two. Small enough for city traffic. Feel comfortable with Honda’s reputation for good quality, reliable vehicles.

After a years use in our 2023 Honda HRV
Well, I am going to start off with my dislikes of the vehicle. The cup holders need a new home. If you put a larger cup or a Stanley into the cup holder, it blocks access to the AC and heating buttons. No matter what, that is not okay. The seats are stiff, but I am growing accustomed to them as time goes by. I do worry about how that stiff lip on the edge of the seat will hold up with age. Honda dropped the ball on the back seat and its guest. SUV's do tend to cater to people with kids. That being said, the lack of a center console is insane. There are very poorly designed cup holders inside the back doors. We all know that just doesn't work. My little one has now spilled several drinks using the only option in the back. USB ports in the back, ALSO needs to be addressed. There are NONE in the back, NONE. This is 2024. All vehicles need this, front AND back. Lastly, Honda, it is a 4 cylinder. Please, please, please work on the gas mileage. Luckily we purchased a FWD and it gets a bit better gas mileage than the AWD. Mixed mileage of 25-30 is not good enough. My prior car was a Prius so I am an expert in driving for the best fuel mileage. I average 38. I know Honda can improve on this. Overall we love the vehicle. Roomy, quiet cabin, comfy ride, great heat and AC and stylish. I call it a mix between a Porsche Cayenne and a Mercedes look! Whoever designed the new look, needs a raise. Whoever designed the back seat however, has no kids and needs a demotion!

Bad tires (Hankook tires)
Brand new Honda 2023 hrv sport, and after only 25k miles the tires were already bare (the tires report a 70k mile lifespan). I had called Gwinnett Honda and Hankook tires company, and they both said they were not responsible for it.
