Used 2013 Honda CR-V LX 4dr SUV AWD (2.4L 4cyl 5A) Consumer Reviews
Best Overall Value after Hours of Research
After much research, im a CRV Owner. Gas mileage in town is 27 Avg. Gas mileage on 2000 mile trip from Michigan to Alabama and back 29mpg. Econ mode on whole time. MPG AVG 28.7. Very Comfortable seats. Lots of leg and storage room for all passengers. Rear seats recline, love it. Low interior noise. Very High reliability. Blue tooth works great, and reads my text messages to me. I love the plastic stays nice longer. Its soft where it needs to be. I did significant research on 2013 CRV and 2013 Rav, I went with CRV. For 2013 CRV LX AWD Paid 24000 plus tax and plate. American Made in Ohio is a plus. Im pretty picky and hard to please, im extremely happy with my CRV.
A lot of things to like except transmission/power
I have owned my 2013 for 3 weeks. I love the interior. It's roomy and well designed and the back seats fold down easy for hauling. I'm doing mostly in town driving and getting a solid 22 miles/gallon. The seats I would give this car 5 stars except that it recently started making a rattle noise when shifting between 1st and 2nd gear. Dealer says it's normal. Sometimes power is an issue when needing to surge onto the interstate.

POSITIVE BATTERY CABLE HARNESS & BATTERY
BEWARE. Very poor design of positive battery cable connection. Instead of an adequate battery post clamp, it has a copper wire braid instead. This makes it EXTREMELY vulnerable to corrosion if battery leaks. Corrosion eats through copper wire braid and connection to starter is terminated. Car will not start. Fix includes replacement of the entire positive battery cable wire harness. Dealer priced new wire harness at $800 plus labor. Bought new battery and our mechanic rewired new cable to starter because the corrosion traveled down the cable to the starter. Battery should last more than 3-4 years. Googled to find numerous people have had this same problem on other models and years. Registered problem with NHTSA government agency for possible recall since it could result in serious injury or worse. Honda denied having had problem reported.
Value First! Look for a deal they are out there
I have been driving a Honda Civic Hybrid for about 6 years. I didn't know how much pain I was enduring until I drove the 2013 CRV. It is wonderful, really good power, great gas mileage for an SUV and a much more comfortable driving position. My model is somewhat basic but even it comes with blue tooth which made syncing with my phone a snap and it reads my messages to me while driving. A nice touch as well. Fold down rear seats are crazy easy, just pull the lever and they completely fold themselves. Really nice when your hands are full. I love this car.

Great car.
2013 honda crv lx has 40,000 miles I've had no issues with the car. One dislike was road noise from the factory continental tires so I found some ex l 17 inch wheels and bought a new set of michelin latitude tires. It's amazing what a difference that made. Another dislike is that there is no arm rest for passenger driver. Other than that it gets great gas mileage and has plenty of room for size.
