Great Value
I got what I paid for with my CRV, safe/reliable/efficient transportation, with great resale value. It's my third Honda, but after driving the new Mazda CX-5 recently I'm tempted to defect to Mazda.....

luv yur ride? Yes i still love my ride, even moreso
I am very happy so far with my honda cr-v (2012) purchased 1 month ago. I will be going on a 1200 mile trip and will be in a better position toevaluate vehicle at end of trip. Ride and cornering is very smooth if you don't yank steering. After a year's driving, i am so impressed with my Honda cr-v. I would recommend vehicle to anyone who's interested in buying a reliable suv. The only negative is under-powering which i heard has been fixed by a turbo. The cabin definitely needs updating to compete with other suv's.

Not like the old ones
2012 redesign included shoddy parts. Bought a 2012 4 days ago, had trouble with it right off the lot. I had done my research but not well enough. Looked up the issue I was having and turns out many others were having it too. The only true remedy that they concluded was a new transmission. Some of these cars only had 80,000 (mine had 93,000). The problem is a vibration when the car accelerates from 20-30 mph. There are 2 service bulletins out for this issue. The 2015 CRV's were part of a massive lawsuit because of it(https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/closed-settlements/858761-honda-cr-v-vibration-class-action-settlement/). Had I known this beforehand I wouldn't have purchased it. It's too bad, my family has had Honda's for years but I'm done after this one.
Honda CRV
The 2012 CRV infotainment leaves a lot to be desired. The controls are not very user friendly. The driving of the CRV In the mountains was surprisingly very good, it feels like a bigger engine than the 4cyl. And very good fuel mileage. Overall I would recommend this SUV.

BEWARE
Technology is sorely dated. IPhone 5 does not sync and no idea if or when it will. FM Radio real time traffic is never correct. Shows accidents a mile away from actual location, wet roads when no rain for a week, heavy traffic on clear roads and clear roads when there is heavy traffic. Hands free commands very difficult to use. Sorry I bought a CRV. Went to buy an SUV for my daughter and did not consider Honda. You have been warned.
