2024 Honda Civic Sedan
Nice car with excellent gas mileage (38 mpg)! Lots of safety features that reduces insurance cost. Honda pass maintenance is nice providing basically 2 years of free maintenance (oil changes). Had 2 recalls since purchase, one associated with software, one with steering worm gear of which both have been addressed. There is a lot of tire road noise driving on highways that is somewhat annoying and not sure if it is associated with the OEM tires. Have an issue with the sunroof not being flush with roof at backside that dealer tried to fix unsuccessfully. Dealer is contacting manufacturer for fix. Been almost 3 weeks and awaiting return call from dealer on that one. Overall satisfied with purchase.
Love it

Classy
I love my 2024 Honda Civic LX Hatchback! It’s really roomy inside the cabin and lots more room in the backseats. Having the hatchback is great because anything fits inside, including my bicycle. The windows are tinted and the shape of the car is pretty sleek and classy; so say my friends when they see me pulling up. As always the driver’s seat is so comfortable and the new dashboard and screen are all in perfect location..lots of options for hands free communication. Really nice and quick acceleration and smooth ride and handling. Just fun to drive!

Garbage Manual Transmission
Where should I start? I bought a brand new Platinum White Pearl color 2024 Honda Civic sport hatch with the 6 Speed manual back in September 2023. The transmission shifter did feel a little more stiff during the test drive than all the six previous manual cars I've owned in the past (most used), I dismissed that as a "new" car transmission and I have heard others mention that manuals do get more smooth as they break in. This was the worse mistake I've made as far as car buying. The transmission in that car did not break in and it just shifted like a box of rocks. There was an audible resistance on the shifter specially 2nd and 3rd but all shifts were rough. It go to the point that driving became insufferable, worse than a chore. The trash manual transmission Honda put in that car most likely had bad quality or defective synchros. Frankly it was not worth pulling teeth with Honda Corporate and the dealer to replace the synchros since the transmission was not grinding yet. All they would have said is "It's a manual car and that is how they shift" I did not want to risk potentially experiencing grinding issues after the warranty so I traded it in after 9 months of buying it but the main reason for getting rid of the car was because it was just insufferable to drive. Thanks Honda for ruining my first new car buying experiece. There are no excuses for your bad quality control specially when spending 28K plus tax and many other fees to acquire your crap. I am never giving you my business and will advice others to stay away from your new or newer cars,
