I have been driving my 2023 Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring for two years now, and still love the car. On the paper, Honda Civic seems more expensive than its rivals, says Toyota Corolla, Mazda 3, Kia Forte, Hyundai Elantra, etc. It lacks a few features found in competitors (AWD, Hybrid, 360 Camera, Seat, etc.). However, you get more than you think in terms of practicality, usability, and versatility, many things cannot be told from the spec sheet alone. Civic is now getting very large, to the point that, you don't have to step up to a mid-size sedan (Camry or Accord) anymore (because it's big enough and can do everything!). The drivability blows Toyota Corolla away, Civic is more fun to drive. The usability is better than both Corolla and Mazda3 (too small). You get Honda's reliability and better resale value than Kia and Hyundai. Civic also has the best visibility, the design is so open and airy. The Interior has great quality and isn't overly complicated, you get real tactile knobs and buttons everywhere. Some people complain about noise, yea I get it, but that's because the glass is so big, the body rigidity is enhanced, and the tires are also wider than others (235 in Sport/Touring/Sport-Touring). All of these account for your safety and handling. Honda cares more about practicality, things you use every day, things that make you safe, and things that make it a good car. In conclusion, the new 2023 Honda Civic is a great car. It can be your only car, your family car that carries 3-4 people (or your kids) around, or go for a long trip. The hatchback can even substitute a small SUV (CUV) for cargo space. The design is timeless, clean, and grown-up, you can drive this thing for 10 years and it doesn't feel old or outdated. If you want a good overall car, you care more about practicality, and can give up some features that you may use once a month (or a year!), this is your car. Honda Civic is one of the best cars you can get and you will not regret it.

This is my 3rd civic. I traded my 2018 civic ex for a 2023 civic sport. I love the look of this car. It’s a blast to drive and handles amazing. I hate the seat. No matter what I do I can’t get comfortable which was never a problem in my last one. The lane assist is annoying, I turned it off. I would think it’s a good option for someone who is looking at their phone when they shouldn’t be. It doesn’t have Sirius radio which really bugs me. My ex had it but Honda only makes available in their touring model now. If I hadn’t been so focused on not getting a bad deal I would have caught this and kept my 2018. I had it installed which cost $$$ and because the system uses the USB port I can’t plug my phone in. There is only one USB port in the car. Stupid. If I want to use apple CarPlay I have to unplug Sirius so I can use the USB port. When it’s built it you can just switch sources. For the price of the car I just feel like Sirius and a better driver seat should be available. The inside is way quieter than my EX which is much appreciated.

Fun to Drive, Practical, Mature Styling

Enjoy every second driving my Honda. I was not a fan of the more aggressive styling of the 10th generation, the 11th gen looks more mature to me. the interior styling is the best in Civic's history, the cloth seats are comfortable for those longer drives and the leather steering wheel is a pleasure to engage. interior noise is not so bad and the engine is not that loud at cruising speeds. some corners were cut with this car though, and given its price (27k+ for a civic!?), thats why I have to give it four stars. my biggest ZONK is the instrument cluster, they could have done better that for sure (and they do with the upper level trim). no regrets though, I didn't want a turbo engine and am very happy with my choice.

Honestly, I found it difficult to rate any part of this car a 4/5 because, so far, it's been the best car I have ever driven. It's super easy to adapt to after driving various vehicles. I felt like id been driving it forever when I got behind the wheel for the first time. The heating and AC warm/cool the car like lightning, and for the trim that I got, I feel I got significantly more features than I did with my previous car (a ford mustang), which is saying something since this car is 10k cheaper! It's sporty, it's peppy, and the breaks are fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better vehicle, and I gotta say I can't recommend any car like I’d recommend this one.
