Used 2006 Honda Civic Consumer Reviews
Wow!!!
Nice solid vehicle. Love the new styling and interior design. Great handling and smooth ride. Interior is quiet and well designed (for the most part). Mileage is fair for the first 3,000 miles (32/gal.) in mixed situations. Would highly recommend this vehicle. Agree with many reviews that the LX model should have a 60/40 split and cup holders in the back. Stereo sounds great but would like the 350 Watt option available on LX (volume is great with windows closed). This care is definitely one you should test drive if you are looking for a stylish and reliable vehicle in this class. Atomic Blue Metallic color was worth the wait.
right choice
On my first test drive I thought the two tier instrument display was too futuristic and I felt somewhat intimidated. After 1 week and driving other contenders in the civic class, I took my second test drive and was totally captivated by the interior and exterior design. To date my driving experience has been quite satisfying. both with interior comfort and controls and handling response. I know I made the right choice.

Smartest Car EVER
After driving this car for a couple of days, I found myself resenting my other car for burning gas while sitting stopped at traffic lights. The performance, comfort, and quality are well above what you would expect from a car in this class. The navigation system includes an excellent voice- activated command system on par with cars in premium categories. Put your skepticism aside, indulge your curiosity, and go test-drive this car TODAY.
Great Gas Mileage
I've had this car for almost two years and I absolutely love it. For the past year I have been driving 35 miles to and from work, all freeway driving since my job and home are right off the freeway. I average between 37 and 40 mpg every time. I usually travel between 65 and 70 mph. Besides that, I also love everything else. I have 37,000 miles on my Civic with the same tires and brakes and I live in San Diego, CA.
A Good Car
My second Honda-another manual. If it were a station wagon it would be perfect. Great mileage-40 mpg on the highway, 32 in mixed driving. Reliable, easy to drive in town or on the interstate. Enough "go" to deal with big semis going 80, but handy to park. More fun to drive than our Toyota. The kids say the back seat is a squeeze but they aren't buying the gas to run it. I expect that my 11 year old will drive this car through college and beyond without problems. I have owned Volvo, VW, BMW, and Toyota cars, but for ease of ownership, reliability, economy, and over all performance,my heart belongs to Honda. I just really, really want a real station wagon again--like my 1991 Accord. Please?
