Love it.
I recently purchased this car yesterday, June 29th, and this is the most fun I've had. I jumped up from a 2001 Chevy S10, which was not the best truck, but was practical. This Si has great room in the front and the back (my head does not touch the top when sitting up in the back seats 6') and has great gas mileage. LoVe It.
Over the average
in the present market of models of this segment, this car has the best of each thing. A really good car

It is what it is and I love what it is
It is exactly what I thought i was purchasing, a high-strug pleasure. Ideal engine for commuting and leaving the vTec for the weekends. I'm 6'6" too and fit like I should (depends on the leg to torso ratio though). Cornering is the best I've experienced. it feels like you're on rails.
Bit of a tripod
I bought this car in 2006, and have not had a single problem. I love taking it up past 5000 (and so does it). You can't give this car too much abuse. It just laps it up. Although, I agree with top gear, it is a "bit of a tripod". It handles like a dream, and accelerates like a bloody rocket! I'm averaging about 30-35 on the highway, and that's at a constant 6500 rpm! I'm pretty sure if I slowed down a bit, I could get better mileage. Nah...
2004 civic SI. A "gem" of a car.
I had a 2002 si that I loved, but I didn't like the 15in. wheels, and the styling was a little bland. They fixed all that with the 2004. Great car. A real sleeper.I'm 55 years old, and I think that there's a ton of old farts like me out there would really enjoy this little gem. Fastest car on the road....no. Best milage...no. best all- around value in an economic set of wheels? yup!
