Words cannot explain how much I love this car. I have the V6 model which adds to its greatness. When our family mechanic told us that one of his loyal customers was getting rid of it I couldn't let the deal slip away. I was blessed enough to get this car for $900, meticulously maintained (even with 200,000+mi), and no headache. That's what I love about this car, there's never a headache. Sure, I need to get my motor mounts replaced soon but that's not a major issue. I just love this car. The AC blows ice cold, the heat is great for these brutal winters in NY, and the heated seats make me feel like I'm driving a BMW lol. But besides all those wonderful features... It has NEVER left me stranded. I commute an hour to college everyday and I work on the weekends so having reliable transportation is a MUST for me. Granted, my car has a minor cosmetic blemish in the front but I still love her. Some people look at my car funny but hey, she's my baby and she runs. That's all I care about. Ironically enough I have friends that have had new cars with less miles and the engine died on them and guess who they ask for a ride? Me with my old Honda lol. These cars really are sooooo reliable. I will keep you guys updated until I get another car but this baby is gonna last me a long time. Hooray Honda for making a college student's life easier by not having to rely on Uber! Update 12-21-2021: I just had to update this. Since my previous review I was rear-ended about a year ago, and this car still held up. I got that damage fixed. Just this week I rear-ended someone and the car was still chugging along. All in all the car has held up very well... It has 251,000 miles. I was in desperate need to get rid of it, so I sold it for $120 to a guy at the junk yard. It needs suspension work that I refuse to put into it, plus I was kind of tired of it. But...The car still runs like a dream. The car definitely was worth way more than $120 even with the repairs it needs, but I let it go to a family in need. :) All I do is change the oil, and it runs. I won't lie, it has had some annoying repair issues crop up thanks to its old age and high mileage, but it allowed me to save up for a newer car. This car NEVER left me stranded. Was it a little annoying to drive while it was experiencing issues? Definitely. But has it ever left me stranded? Nope. Get one of these. You won't regret it. I got a 2012 Honda Civic to replace my old baby and I am more than happy. I would have kept my Accord but I live in an apartment so I can't have an unregistered car just sitting around in the lot. I miss my baby already, but she's off to serve another family. <3 :)

I have now owned this car for 15 months (bought new) and here is an update to my first review. I have 43,000 miles. I drive a lot for work. Interior is still in perfect condition. Original brakes are still on car and work great! Road noise/engine noise are both the same as when purchased (very quiet). I see some complaints about the driver's seat. I love the firmness/comfort level. I drive an avg of 4-5 hours per working day and my back and legs have never been uncomfortable. Some people complain about no daytime running lights. Those are stupid and primarily found in US cars. Engine and Transmission are still like brand new. I have never regretted my decision to buy the accord.

Good Value, Not Much Fun To Drive

Overall, the Accord was a great value however it is just not that much fun to drive. The engine has enough HP to get up and going, yet lacks sport car quality. The reliability, roominess of the interior, and great financing rates prompted my decision to buy this car. The car produces a moderate amount of road noise too; It is not quiet. I looked at the Acura TL and will be trading in the Accord. The Acura still has great value and is the Accord's luxury sport version that appeals to those who want a car that is stylish and fun to drive. The Accord appealed to my practical side and the TL appealed to my senses as well. If you have a few extra bucks to spend it might be worth it.
