I purchased a Honda Accord LX from Marty Sussman Honda on 3/15/2004. From the very beginning there was a rotten egg smell that would permeate the entire interior of the car. The dealer acknowledges that it smells. Honda actually has a pre-printed paper stating that the smell comes from too much sulfur in the gas. Honda claims the car is "operating according to specifications".Why would you design a car to run on lower sulfur fuel when there is no low sulfur gas suppliers outside of California.I asked where can I get the right gas and they did not know. Honda denied any responsibility so I contacted a lemon law lawyer that said I'm not the only case that they have handled with this problem.

I previously owned a 1999 Ford Taurus SE with the Duratec 3.0L V6, with 200- horsepower. I traded that Ford for the 2004 Accord LX 4-cylinder and have to admit, the Accord doesn't feel much slower than the Taurus...if at all. And Honda's 4- cylinder is actually a little quieter and smoother than my Ford's V6 was. Build quality seems very good, but interior materials fall short of upscale. Too many hard plastic surfaces. Control layout is very well done, though, and the huge gauges are big enough to be seen from the rear seat with ease. Love the LED illumination, too.

This car is the best car ive evr had i have purchased 2 honda accords in the past 2 yrs. one is an 01 and the other 04. i cant wait to see what future models look like many upgrades

I BOUGHT THIS CAR ON AUGUST 1ST AND 2 DAYS LATTER CAR STARTED TO HAVE NOICE IN THE FRONT OF THE CAR. WHEN I TURN THE WHELL INSTEAD OF GOING SMOOTHLY IT GOES BY BUMPS AND NOICE IN THE FRONT BECOMES EVEN LOUDER. THE CAR IS UNDRIVABLE. I WENT TO THE DELERSHIP BUT THEY TOLD ME TO WAIT 3 WEEKS BECAUSE THEY ARE BOOKED. I WENT TO SEVERAL HONDA DEALERSHIPS AND ALL OF THEM WERE PACKED WITH NEW ACCORDS. I TRULY REGRET THAT I BOUGHT THAT CAR. DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE.

A good car, but hardly innovative. I wish I had opted for a little more luxury for some more dollars...BMW, Audi?
