Nice EX V-6 Coupe

2002 Honda Accord EX V-6 2dr Coupe (3.0L 6cyl 4A)

Bought my EX-V6 coupe about six months ago and do not regret my decision. Have owned two Hondas previously, a 1993 and a 2001, both four cylinders. You can really tell the difference in the V6, much smoother at idle, much quieter, and easier to go around town. Get about 25 on the highway and about 20 in the city. The interior is very nicely laid out, everything is very clear and easy to reach. The auto climate control, sunroof, and leather sport seats add a lot of comfort. The trunk is large enough for many golf bags. The exterior is very nice looking as well, especially with the spoiler and exhaust tips. Just need some fogs. All I need is some better tires, way too loud.

I bought this car with 12k mls on it 5 monts ago.It now is approaching 30k. I have had no hints of problems at all. The car is very comfortable to be in for long periods of time and it handles very well. I would like to note, I was in an accident recently in this vehicle and it held up remarkably. I was rearended at a dead stop by an older full metal car that was traveling at 30 miles per hour.ALthough there was over 5grand in damage and sever whiplash, i think that it could have been worse. By the way, the airbags didn't pop. I like the car and would suggest it to anyone who is looking for quality at an affordable price.

It's powerful, edgy and fun to drive. It is home away from home.

I bought this car with 2 000 miles on it. I've put another 5 000 on it with no problems whatsoever. No rattles or sqeeks. My previous vehicle was a Ford...aka Lemon! The engine is good for a 4 cyl and the auto transmission reacts well. I'm lovin' this Honda, and I recommend an Accord to anyone looking for a sedan. Rear spoiler is a must, the car looks 10x better with it.

#8 on my list BUT I fell for Honda's aggressive lease program and to save a few bucks, I signed. I've been sorry ever since. Gas mileage (15-18 city) SUX! The ride is EXTREMELY rough! Sunroof opens halfway. Loose screws and rattles found everywhere. A slug could beat this 'car' from a dead stop.

Honda Accord 2002 EX V6 Poor Car

In June, 2002 I decided to upgrade and get the top of the line Accord. What a mistake. I have 7000 miles on the car and to date have had the steering column and transmission replaced. If Honda is known for quality, I'd hate to see the product of the other manufacturers. Horrible car.

This is my 3rd Honda Accord and have had no major mechanical problems, but the sheet metal is so thin I feel like I'm riding in a cola can. My Accord has so many dents and dings from rocks and such and some of the rock chips are starting to rust. This is ridiculous!! It is a year old and rust? My Pontiac is 3 years older has twice the rock chips and no rust. Also my Pontiac has no dings. I switch off driving both cars for the same commute. Earth to Honda --- USE BETTER SHEET METAL!!!!!!!! I will never buy a honda again -- the quality has continually degraded with each accord release!

I had never owned a Honda until March of 2002, and I am amazed every day with it. It handles beautifully, it is very comfortable, and it sure can take a hit. I had this brand new car for three weeks when a drunken kid rear- ended me at a red light. I was completely stopped, and he hit me at 40- 45 mph. His '90 Accord was totalled, but my bumper was just split open- not even smashed in. Not a bit of internal damage was done.

It's not a car, it's a Honda

After 16 years driving Ford?Mercury products, and only ONE month in this car, I would hesitate to lease/purchase ANY other vehicle until this one has been test driven. Never have I had a more solid, quiet, responsive ride than I do from the Accord. Hills which required several downshifts from previous vehicles were no problem for the Accord - interstate driving is a true pleasure. Surrounded by leather and a luxurious sound system, one of our favorite things to do is take a drive !!

WHAT HAPPENED HONDA?

Being a loyal Honda buyer for several years and having a short experience with an unreliable European sedan I decided to come back to Honda. I bought a 2002 Accord with all the options including leather interior and spoiler. The car has been nothing more than a complete dissapointment. The fuel economy very dissapointing as well as the ride and comfort of this car. The car is noisy and the interior appears to be put together VERY cheaply with tons of squeeks and rattles to visit the dealership over. I owned 5 Hondas before my Volvo and they were high quality cars that were comfortable and drove well. Honda what are you doing to your cars?
