1999 Honda Accord
I have not had any problems out of my Honda Accord since I bought it 3 years ago. I have had to replace the breaks almost every year and have already replaced the rotors and I am not hard on breaks.???
Overall a Great Car
I couldn't ask for more. Fairly inexpensive, roomy, dependable and a fantasticly well designed 4 cyl engine. It can haul five people comfortably, reach highway speeds with ease (great for merging) and cruise at 90 mph (with yet more available power) all day long. Its been a pleasure to own as it just plain WORKS as a car should and not cost a fortune. 102K,1 set of tires, front brake pads...nothing else...SWEET!
Great À-B car REPLACE THE TIMING BELT
I bought a 1999 accord dx manual 5spd Out of desperation in order to drive out and see my family. I'm sure it would have been a great car and I would still probably have to this day if I had put a timing belt on it when I bought it. It blew one on the way back home. Trashed the head (valve interference) Parts were fairly cheep and I built a new engine in my apt living room. But then the complex had the body towed. And I couldn't afford to get it out. I'm positive with the new engine it would have driven forever. Sold everything that was left and that was that. The lesson here is DO NOT trust the previous owner (seller) no mater what. And always change/check the timing belt before long road trips when you buy used Hondas. Interior was worn but comfortable. I liked the car. But it did not like me

Great car. Exhaust and brakes needed repair sooner than expected. Not the greatest vehicle for winter driving.
