It's been a love/hate relationship - soon to end.
Having traded up from a Chevy Colorado, I found a lot to like about the GMC Canyon Denali - The ride is very good, there's plenty of power from the V6, and overall it's just nicer. It's a practical and nice looking truck that meets our needs for a compact PU — however, as far as reliabililty and repairs, it just plain sucks. Fortunately, the warranty covered all the initial issues: Steering wheel replaced, heater core replaced, differential replaced all before 36K. Since then, I've replaced the serpentine belt and A/C compressor. Now looking at replacing the oil lines and radiator, and it hasn't even hit 50K. Having owned GM products for most of the last 30 years, it's easy to see what a huge drop there's been in the quality of the build, parts and quality control. After this, time to shop the other brands.

Love this not so little truck
Ok, been wanting to get a truck again for a long time, I have owned a Chevy S-10 V-6, a Ford Ranger 3.0 V6, and a Mazda B4000 4.0 V6 (ford ranger), this is by far, better then any of the others that I had though the B4000 engine was almost as good. I picked this up used last month as 2018 SLE with only 36k miles, basically just broke in. As some have said, the head lights were dismal, but easy LED fix and now they are very bright, fog lights the same, just updated to LED and Fog lights are now doing their job. I get around 34 miles to the gallon on mostly freeway driving to and from work, 80 miles a day. I have done some upgrading, bed liner, tonnue cover, new wheels and tires and K&N filter, but those things are utility upgrades, not needed just wanted. I think most will enjoy this truck.

Issues
Had to get a new touch screen, had to get a new differential, heater stopped working once, AC stopped working twice. Need to get rid of it before something else happens. Love the features and quality of interior though.

Love the 2019 Canyon! I added a few upgrades to my Canyon to make it look and feel just a bit more prettier! Comfortable and rides nice!
Great highway truck
I went from a Lexus GX470 to this as I wanted a truck that is not too big but has power and some off road capability. I have the diesel version All Terrain (couldn't select that from drop down but i do have it!) and what an awesome truck. 90% of my driving is on the highway and alone but my grown up kids can fit in the back comfortable. Drives great on highway - hard to keep it under 130 KM/H and has the gas mileage of a civic. It is as quiet as my Lexus at highway speeds. High bed sides with a diamondback tonneau make it great for lugging stuff around to the cottage. Don't know about durability yet as i had my Lexus for 15 years and 475,000 Km.
