Used 2009 GMC Acadia SLT-1 4dr SUV AWD (3.6L 6cyl 6A) Consumer Reviews
I love my Acadia!
I have never had a single problem with my GMC 09 Acadia. I bought my brand new with 9 miles on it in December of 08. Has gotten me everywhere across the midwest with all my trips. It's pretty good on gas mileage for a SUV. The only problem I have had to take it to a GMC dealership to get fixed is the 2 recalls which they fixed and paid me, and leaks in my tires which set off my tire system sensor. But i work in a construction field so therefor the slow leaks were due to a nail in my tires. And oh yeah the other thing was to reset my sensor for Air bags. But I have never had anything fixed and I have had this vehicle for 3-1/2 years brand new. Love this vehicle!!!!!!!!
Worst Car I EVER Purchase!
Please keep your money. The injectors are no good had to replace more than once.

I'm going back to Dodge
What a waste of money. I finally got the money saved up to get the truck I've been drooling over for years. Being a single mom of 3 young kids, saving money is very hard. I bought a 2009 with 100,000 miles. Nothing but expensive problems. I've spend more money on repairs than I paid for it! Everything from my O2 sensor to an alignment. Seems like every other week the check engine light comes on. It's gotten to the point where I can actually feel in my gut when that darn light is going to come on and ultimately cost my thousands more than I have. As a single mom, I need my truck. And right now, I cringe at the thought of driving it. This was my 1st GMC and it will be my last. I'm going back to Dodge.

Worst vehicle I ever owned
Bought a used 2009 in 2012 with 62,000 miles on it. The dealership had all the service records. 1 year later we lost the transmission coming back from California. Rebuilt the transmission. 2 years later exact same problem coming back from California. Replaced the transmission at the GMC dealership. Had multiple problems with it for the next year and then we lost the engine. We we’re always having the services done at the dealership. Which with all these problems and the multiple recalls we ended up with over $20,000.00 in repair bills. We traded it in in 2017 for a down payment on a 2017 Nissan Rogue which has been a great car. Personally I believe the 2009 GMC Acadias should all be placed under the lemon law.

Worst Vehicle I ever owned!
Bought this back in summer of 2012, used had about 20,000 miles on it. Buying this car was one of the worst decisions i ever made. Just 2 years after I bought it, the transmission blew out 3 times. The car itself was junk. Everytime after it rained, if I went up a hill, water would pour out on to my feet. Mold was growing under the hood. I do recommend this vehicle to anyone, very unreliable.
