I used to have only good things to say about Genesis, the GV80 is my second card from the brand…until something breaks and you have to take it to the dealership. The AC evaporator broke (surprisingly after 21K miles ). The dealership (Lehman Genesis in Miami) doesn’t have loaners and suggested to call Genesis to get an allowance for a rental (after approval from Genesis). I did that, open a case, they assigned a case manager. Today is the 20th day my car is at the dealership, after calling every day to customer service I have not been able to reach out to the case manager. Surprisingly customer service tells me the case manager is scheduled to call me today…every time I call. I asked the case to be escalated to a surpervisor…well yesterday I was told the supervisor is scheduled to call me on the 5th (fyi yesterday was the 9th!). Oh…before I forget, I had to take an Uber (1 hour away from home) to the dealership to find out the evaporator (nor the dealership or Genesis could call) is in back order and they couldn’t provide an ETA as of when they will have it. Can’t wait to get my car back so I can get rid of it….we’ll done Genesis.

I love my GV80, I have it now for 2 years. It was a birthday gift from my Husband. I enjoy driving it, and I love all the latest technology it has. The purchasing experience was great.

Bought a used 2021 GV80 August of 2024. 78000 kilometres. Ride and handling excellent. Have had problems with electronics, not very good on fuel, which can be expected with luxury. Probably should not have purchased a first model year vehicle. The dealer in London, Ontario has been excellent.

Strike 3 for me. AC defect during 2024. Couldn’t get into dealer bec of all recalls on seatbelts. 100+ degree weather. Next gas door would not open - actuator failed. And this Aug had to be towed in for failed fuel injector. While replacing fuel injector they noticed pink coolant in one of cylinders. Waiting to hear what they found. 16,700 miles now.
