I purchased a new G70 in early May. The vehicle experienced a nearly total computer failure six weeks later. It’s been back at the dealership for a week and they haven’t been able to fix the problem. I regret the purchase.

This is the smallest Genesis but with a big heart. 365 HP make for a very quick ride with all the safety/luxury/technological bells and whistles you can imagine on the largest Genesis. Great sports sedan. Highly recommend.

Not the Same as older models

We had a 2013 Genesis that we kept for 10 years, were ready to purchase another one. Still a great car, but decided against it because the back seat in the newer models (G70) is so small, and the luxury seemed minimal. It was like driving a fast compact car, with limited features. To get something comparable to what we had before, we would've had to purchase the G90. The appeal to us was the "affordable luxury", Genesis no longer represents that. We purchased a Toyota Highlander Platinum instead.

Love the g70! Have owned a 2022 2.0 and now a 2022 3.3. Both great cars but very different. The 2.0 handled beautifully and for 99% of your daily driving is plenty of car. Actually handles better in corners than the 3.3. But … the 3.3 has the “stomp” factor in Sport mode which is so much fun. Unfortunately fuel consumption higher in the 3.3 as are insurance costs! Have never driven the newer 2.5 version. No complaints after nearly 4 years. Genesis service has been excellent!
